  1. OH THANK GOD !!!! Thank you Rickie Weeks. Let's go bullpen.
  2. By the way, I was sick to my stomach when Ordonez came up against Helling the second time. It was obvious Helling was getting shelled and I really hated that match up. Ned Yost still does not have the best instincts and still struggles to get a feel for what is happening out there sometimes.
  3. Just got back from the game myself. It was a painful tease. Not only did Helling strikeout the side on 9 pitches, but the first two Brewers reached base and it looked like we were going to have a big inning . . . but then Weeks over-ran the base and the game was never the same. All Tigers tonight. Yuck.
  4. Lucky for me, I had a chance to listen to the Indians radio broadcast on AM 1100 while driving through Cleveland on my way to upstate New York. The strong signal allowed me to listen to the whole game through Pennsylvania and into NY state. It worked out great for me, It sounded like a fun game for Brewers fans. Scoring 4 runs in the first inning made the rest of the drive more fun for me, The Tribe announcers also had a lot of nice things to say about Miller Park. It was their first visit there and they seemed impressed for the most part. Nice win !!

    Game 4 recap

I posted this in the other thread, but in case nobody is looking there anymore, I will say it again . . . Even though we got clobbered, I had a really fun time. I love playing against good teams and getting tested out there. I really love the challenge. Can't wait for next week. I do think it is good to have substitutions to get everyone more playing time. But I also think we had too many guys at once playing out of position. Maybe there might be a better way of rotating guys in and out so that eveyone plays positions that they are more experienced with. It seemed like we really struggled with defense as a team.
  6. Even though we got clobbered, I had a really fun time. As I said before, I love playing against good teams and getting tested out there. I really love the challenge. Can't wait for next week.
  7. It's getting a little dark and cloudy out there. Hmmmmm ????
  8. YESSSSS !!! Congratulations Geoff Jenkins. Nice to beat Arroyo.
  9. Is a 1-2-3 inning too much to ask ? *sigh*
  10. Nice bunt by Arroyo. I wish some of the Brewers would try that when they are slumping.
  11. BREWERS WIN !!!! Congartulations Zach Jackson !!
  12. Miller, get out there and calm him down.
  13. You hate to give up walks in a park like this.
  14. Jenkins with the hat trick http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  15. I missed it . . how did we score ?? (Got an important phone call just as Weeks was coming up)
  16. Anyone watching this pregame show? I am glad that Bill Schroeder knows how to grill a chicken, but why doesn't FSN focus on baseball. I would rather see a candid interview with Ned Yost about why he continues to let Jenkins bat third and stay in the lineup against lefties. This isn't the Food Network.
  17. I know Jenkins has had a lot of success in the Reds ballpark. But still, I don't like this at all. It's almost like there is no accountability for poor performance.
  18. Have we lowered our standards that much when it comes to Jenkins? This is the big leagues, not little league.
  19. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!! JENKINS YOU STINK.
