  1. I'll be honest, I haven't touched my Xbox 360 in a couple months. It's nice outside, I got bored of 2k7 baseball and it's been collecting dust ever since. I started browsing gamefaqs.com to see if any good games were coming out soon and I came across Bioshock. Apparently there is a lot of hype around this game, in fact LARGE amounts of hype. Here is a podcast claiming that Bioshock is easily the Game of the Year Here is a video review giving it a 5/5 These are the some reviews for the game so far: PC Gamer UK: 9.5 OXM UK: 10 Game Informer: 10 Alternative Press: 10 Xbox World: 9.4 Gamers: 9.8 Gametrailers: 5/5 PC Zone: 96% I probably sound like a paid advertisement for this game, but I feel like it's been so long since I REALLY enjoyed a good quality gaming experience. Maybe this will be it. Rumor has it that there will be a playable demo available on Monday for the Xbox 360. The game itself is going to be released on the 21st for Xbox 360 and PC.
  2. Good stuff. Did you see me in my "The man, the myth" shirt? I try and make the Coors series every year. This year I bought $4 Rockpile seats and hung out over the bullpen for a lot of the games, but in previous years I've been able to get great seats, sometimes a few rows right behind home plate. For anyone who hasn't been to Coors, I highly recommend it. It's one of my favorites.
  3. I found it rather delicious, but you definetly need a scorhing hot day to drink it. It's not an after the slopes type of beverage.
  4. I'll be at one of these games and I'll bring my Denver mojo with me. Last time I went to a game at Coors Field, the Brewers swept and Bad Chad hit a grandslam.http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eek.gif
  5. Does anyone have an explanation as to the 35 mph pitch that Suppan threw to Ryan Howard in the second inning? I see it on Gameday, but I didn't listen to it or see it.
  6. I'm surprised at my own indifference of the whole situation. I was waiting figuring that I would either be extremely upset or surprisingly excited, but my reaction is more "meh". Anyone feeling this way?
  7. I think it's also because of his performance at the plate last night. When you go 0-4, you can't really proclaim that you had one of the best games of your life, even if you did make a game saving catch in the outfield.
  8. Bring me back some cigars.http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/alien.gif
  9. I live in Bozeman (although I'm gone on business) and late last week you could see the smoke getting thicker around town. With all the moisture we got this winter it was pretty easy to see this coming. I was planning on going camping in the Bob, but obviously those plans have been cancelled. The worst I've seen is the fires around Glacier park in the summer of 2002. I was working up there at Many Glacier and we spent plenty of time just admiring the fire as the flames swept across the valley. Pretty awesome sight. Then they got it even worse in 2003 and had to shut down the park itself as a hazard. They also had pretty bad fires near Bozeman in 2001.
  10. A lot of teams have made Oliver Perez look like Cy Young this year. Hopefully Woogie can bring the IGT back to its winning ways. What is it about the Brewers being at home?
  11. Good thing he's not a National's fan.
  12. I tried it too, but it gave me an error message as well. I figured it was because of a busy background in my picture.
  13. When are we going to have a pink WOAH SOLVVED Haiku IGT?
  14. Texeria should do alright in Atlanta. I heard that he's good friends with Chipper Jones. I remember thinking the Braves would be sorry for trading away Adam LaRoche, but they got a decent 1B now. Whatever happened to that Adam LaRoche fella.......
  15. I like to pretend that the Brewers were way under .500 earlier in the season and they mounted an amazing run to come from 4th place and take over 1st from the Cubs. Losing is no fun.
  16. I didn't notice until just now also or I would have put in my votes earlier. Brewerfan.net is 2nd right now and only 9,000 votes behind the BoSox SoSH.
  17. I just saw the movie with my brother. I enjoyed it, although there were some jokes that missed. I think it's more similar to episodes from recent seasons than the earlier stuff. It was just fun seeing the Simpson's on the big screen. Overall I'd give it a B-.
  18. It seems pretty fair to me. I'm upset that we had to give up Inman, but when I think great setupmen in baseball right now, Linebrink is high on the list. We were looking to strenghten the Major League roster for the playoff push, and none of the pieces we gave up (maybe Thatcher) could have done that. I am suprised that SD didn't trade a bat for Linebrink though.
  19. Why do these stories have to clog up every news channel? Shouldn't these people be in jail by now. She really isn't that famous anyway.
  20. Wow that Estrada news sure is pretty convienent. Ironically enough, the Journal Sentinal is now also reporting that Mench doesn't take walks because his head is too fat, Counsell can't hit because he holds his bat like a lightning rod and Nedly has had trouble managing because he can't find his pencil. Seriously though, I think the Brewers can pull off a win with Gallardo on the hill today. Let's work Belisle early and get to the Reds bullpen. The Brewers seem to have done a good job rebounding after bad games this year.
  21. Not PHing for Harang here seems pretty questionable, despite how well he's pitching. Having the worst bullpen in the league might have something to do with it.
  22. 7 Strikeouts for Cappy. The strikezone is pretty big for Cappy tonigt, not to take any credit away from him for a good performance so far.
