  1. High Definition television
  2. Watched about 10 minutes of it. To bad for Frank, but he's a funny guy and he'll be alright. "Brett Favre!"
  3. That I spend too much time in the "What's Bugging You?" thread. If it's anywhere near the top, it's always the first one I check. I guess I'm just an ornery guy.
  4. ahnd juust whn yo uj thi nk that you wont rfid what you wetre okking for there it is on page one of my favorote forujm.! Ansd what woudl i be doing oln the colmputedr anywqay? It s probaloby becaused we got kicked out of the bars so i kjm ujuwst gonna pass ouit nowa.
  5. I don't know how long it goes, but a 36 was as high as I got. But I do now know that cloistral means monastic??
  6. I'd like to see this go through, but only for homerun calls. Anything more will slow the game down and alter how it is played. I heard on the radio today an opinion that replay should be used safe/out calls as well because Matt Holliday should've been out at home plate during the playoff game versus SD, but that same game shouldn't have even gone into extra innings, if they would have made a correct homerun call earlier in the game.
  7. Oh yeah, one other thing that's bugging me is the fact that I got called in to work at 5am on my birthday, which wouldn't be so bad except that work is a 10 hour drive to New Mexico, directly followed by a 12 hour shift from 4pm to 4am. And I had plans. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  8. When driving in the car and listening to music, I really hate songs that have noises that sound like my car is breaking down or my wheel is slowly losing it's lugnuts one by one, or police sirens. It gets me everytime. Also, my incredibly complex password to log on to brewerfan.net, which I have long since memorized, but still have to think about for a second when logging on. There is probably a way to personalize it, but I can't put in the effort to research how to do it.
  9. Done and done. Paste is worth it for the CDs alone. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Wow, people actually use the term "Blue screen of death"? I thought that was just something the people in my company made up. Anyway, I can't help. When it starts happening to frequently I get my harddrive replaced.
  11. If I smoke a pack every 2 days and I've been smoking for 8 years, I've spent $5760 on cigarettes at $4 a pack average in my lifetime. Really not as bad as I thought. Funny thing is, I've investigated buying the nicotine gum, but at $65 for 100 pieces it always seems to expensive. Yes I understand the lack of logic there.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smokin.gif I'd be willing to bet I have spent a lot of money on sunflower seeds in my lifetime, since I spit just about daily and I've been doing that since I was about 12. My company reimburses me for most of the gas I buy, but it's by far the biggest expense on my bank statement. I bought a new car in March and it has 27,500 miles on it already. If I get 20 miles/gallon, I have spent $4125 on gas at $3/gallon since March. Or about $500 a month on gasoline.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif
  12. So what don't you have to do since the Brewers missed the playoffs?
  13. I'm sorry if I missed a few (dozen) pages, but with Attanasio and Melvin is there really a chance that Yost won't be the manager for next year. My opinions aside, we seemed to be pretty set at the beginning of the season.
  14. Can we salvage Cappy please, or find a valid replacement. I think we're pretty set on the lineup, the pitching staff is up to DM and GA. I'll just go ahead and support the graphic a few posts above me. Officially starts our long offseason, and we need a new #2/#1 man in our rotation.
  15. Cheers to a new beginning.
  16. The season being over. I have no idea what day of the week it is, but I know regular season baseball is over. Shed a tear for that Darryl Strawberry. Fall has officially begun.
  17. Agreed. He's always been one of my favorites and this afternoons send off brought a tear to my eye. I'm sure no other current Brewer can share the same emotions that I have as a fan for the past 10 years as Geoff Jenkins. He won't be able to pee his pants this year, but there is still a glimmer of hope for next.
  18. Start dkining again?
  19. I really want to quit my job, but I keep getting ridiculous raises.
  20. I just did the Coors brewery tour, and although I'm not a fan of Coors (I do like Blue Moon and Killians though), but they give you a taste of Coors Heavy 3 days after it's been brewed and it's out of this world. I could go on and on, but my favorite beer that you can get anywhere in the US is Pilsner Urquel.
  21. I beat the happy ending and am planning on playing it again. It's my favorite game for the 360 so far.......at least until Halp 3 and then probably Mass Effect.
  22. Delivering newspapers when I was 11. It paid $5/day and that bought me some great stuff. Now I make about 50x that/day as a wellsite geologist. And that buys some pretty great stuff also.
  23. I'll just copy and paste what I wrote in my last vent thread post from back on April 17th. "it bothers me that some move wasn't made to the bullpen in this close of a game. All we needed was one out, and a fresh arm like Cordero (Turnbow) could have recorded that out. I will blame a manager for not making a decision that most managers, and even most people watching the game, would have made." That's talking about Aquino. The situation was a little different, but the quote still applies.
  24. It took a while for me to get into it at first, but now I can't put the controller down. There is a LOT to do in this game to keep you busy. The environments are gorgeous and the story line is great. I'll try and post a short review when my normal life resumes as scheduled. I can tell already though that I'm going to have to play it through twice.
