I've been an Amy Poehler fan since Upright Citizens Brigade aired on Comedy Central, so I really wanted to like this show, but like others have already said her character is just a watered down Michael Scott. In fact the whole pacing of the show seems a little bit too much like The Office, only without the jokes. I watched the first two episodes and didn't laugh once. I hope for Amy's sake that the show gets better and takes off, but I am done watching for now.

A few more outs and JJ will be batting under .100. I only have gameday, but it looks like Suppan has been mixing up his pitches really well today. -
How close were those pitches to Murphy? On Gameday, at least 3 looked like strikes and the other 2 were just outside.
-
I see a quality start from Bush tonight and a couple of HRs from the Brewers. We won't be seeing Putz or K-Rod in this game.

Funny show. They left us hanging after the last episode so I'm glad they got picked up for at least one more season. I wonder how they are going to set him up coming back to town? Here's an earlier thread with a couple posts http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=17735

It looks like a hand to me too. And you can see the World Trade Center in a folded $20 bill.

Considering opposing batters have an OBP of .060 after falling 0-2 to Marmol, Harts chances were probably worse than that.
-
Nice to see Hart take a walk against a tough pitcher (or any pitcher). It's up to Braunie now.
-
DiFelice could not have made a worse pitch to molina there. Right in the heart of the zone. I worry about our bullpen.
-
I like the Giants announcers, but sometimes they just aren't thinking. Molina grounds to SS.

Highlight of the year for me so far is Gallardo launching a HR over the left field fence. Wow.
-
If Braun had successfully stolen third it would have been a sacrfice situation with a runner on third and one out, but I agree that with a lefty cleanup hitter at bat it doesn't make much sense to steal third. I'm guessing Macha didn't send him.

Good thing we have our ace on the mound tonight with the way RJ is dealing.

http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/fdc35bbc9f77837e63dccade324a7edc81c30e9.pjpg Hardy has 2 HRs off of Randy Johnson in 5 ABs. I'd like to see him come back strong after the 0-5 yesterday.

I just saw this. The article link on ign caught my eye reading, "Fielder cover boy for The Bigs". I'll give this game a rent at least.

Stevo- I'm using MLB.TV out of state and it has been running very smoothly for me from the start of the game. Over the years I've called their service line a few times and they've never been able to provide a solid answer to any problem I've had. It's best to just wait it out in my experience.

The Giants already had the bullpen active. It could be a short day for Lincecum.
-
Hall was way to close on that last at bat and he pays for it as it bounces over his head.
-
It's nice to see the Brewers come up with some key 2 out basehits.
-
That always bothers me too. He seems to hold on to it longer than any other outfielder. 8 innings left.

2009-04-06 Non-Brewers in-game thread

They will if Motte is their closer and keeps pitching like that. This is the first time I've seen him, but he essentially only has one pitch, a 95 mph fastball with no movement. -

I listen to XM online almost more than in my vehicle. XM online is free if you renewed before March 11th, otherwise they have started charging for it. Is the Braves radio feed available through XM? I know they normally only carry the home town radio broadcast?
