    Wow that’s brutal. Meanwhile, the Cubs are an absolute train wreck right now. Gave up 15 runs tonight in another loss.

    With the all star break coming up, I hope they stick with a 5 man. I like the idea of Burnes, Peralta and Woodruff all going in that Reds series. That one has me a bit worried.

    Hasn’t Brubaker been pretty good against us the last couple of years? This seems like the least winnable game this weekend but hopefully they prove me wrong.

    One of the most frustrating seasons I can remember. Ugh.

    Seems like without fail there is always at least one rain delay whenever we play in Pittsburgh or Cincinnati.

    The next two series are against the Pirates and Mets, who are last and 2nd to last in runs scored in all of MLB. With our pitching, I have a good feeling going into these two series.

    Urias and Adames have really been the difference makers in this offensive resurgence.

    If there was ever a game for the offense to pick up the pitching, this would be it. But I’m probably safe to find something else to do today.

    Counsell said after yesterday’s game that Wong wouldn’t start but could possibly be available at some point during the game.

    And I’m totally ok with that as I don’t think Escobar moves the needle all that much. I’m pretty good with Urias at 3B for now. Unless you get a clearly obvious upgrade over Urias, I would use our trade assets to acquire a reliever or 1B.
