The Reds offense is pretty good. They’ve scored about 50 more runs than we have in a couple less games and Winker and Castellanos are two of the best hitters in baseball right now. Plus no Burnes or Woodruff in this series. The offense is gonna have to show up for sure.

Maybe it’s possible for him to regain some of his value by mashing in AAA like he was before being called back up and then we could flip him at the deadline for something useful.

When his trade value is at absolute rock bottom? Man I don’t know. Probably better off hoping he somehow turns things around.

Baseball America updated their top 100 list and actually had Turang and Mitchell drop in the rankings to 78 and 79 respectively. No new Brewers in the top 100.

For me, nobody on offense obviously but Woodruff, Burnes and Hader would be locks. Freddy with a chance too.

Burnes probably has two more innings at most. Hopefully the offense can get him some runs before we turn it over to the pen.

Je’Von Ward and David Hamilton have been nice surprises too. That Rattlers lineup is pretty stacked. -
Brewers won too many games in 2016. Pavin was picked 7th, Keston went 9th. They are two of six 2017 first round picks with positive WAR so far. 19 of the 36 first round picks from 2017 have yet to even reach MLB. Oh I’m not questioning the draft pick. Didn’t even know they were in the same draft. More just dreaming up a trade for him due to our 1B issues.

Hopefully Woodruff can keep this a one run game. Their appears to be little room for error against Kelly who suddenly looks like deGrom out there.

Just feels like one of those games Woodruff pitches a gem and we lose 2-1.

I can see them calling up Ashby to pitch out of the pen like they did with Burnes and Woodruff back in 2018.
