Big day for the Brewers as there are doubleheaders all over the place that will really have an impact on the standings by the end of the night. Reds have a tough weekend series against the White Sox. Should be a fun weekend IF the Brewers take care of their business against KC. -
How hard is Knebel throwing his fastball tonight? Not able to watch the game.

Stearns and Mark A get most of the blame from me for putting together this crappy offense. Yelich and Hiura’s struggles are out of their control but most of last offseason’s moves were embarrassing.

Looking at the top free agents this winter, I don’t see us spending any money on the offensive side. Not for anyone that would make a difference anyway. Maybe Justin Turner? So my thinking would be to allocate our funds to build a dominant starting rotation and fill the holes on the infield via trade (Hader).

We had plenty of chances to win this one late in the game but this game kinda fell apart when Woodruff walked Cleveland's #9 hitter after he was cruising there in the 5th. He's been good but not great this year. Need him to step it up a bit more down the stretch.

Yeah I really liked our draft this year and I think it has a chance to end up being a really good one but until these guys play at least one minor league game, it’s hard to get too excited. It’s just been depressing seeing our minor league system consistently ranked last the past couple years but hopefully that turns around soon. In Stearns I trust. -

Like Keston Hiura for instance? And Devin Williams? Ok you got me. Two whole players in 4 years. I will say they have been somewhat good at drafting pitching but outside of Hiura, we have been pretty horrible at drafting position players.
