  1. I wonder if the mystery team is Texas and then the Brewers would end up in Round Rock?
  2. Not sure if Philly would do it but I really like your Hader trade proposal. Bohm is exactly the type of player the Brewers should be looking to trade Hader for. I also like your idea of trading Hiura for a stud starting pitcher. I’m on that train too.
  3. Being in Twins territory, do you have a feel of what the Twins would be willing to give up to get Hader? Trevor Larnarch is intriguing and he's close to MLB ready. Maybe a Larnarch and Balazovich/Jeffers? I really like Arraez because he's such an on-base machine so would love to somehow get him too.
  4. Just the two rookie leagues. Only low-A, high-A, AA and AAA will be left.
  5. So what will the draft look like going forward? With every organization having less minor league teams, I’m guessing there will be less rounds in the draft. Has there been any talk on that?
  6. Since we don’t have the prospects to get it done I think this is where a Hiura for Snell swap makes sense. I know we would be subtracting from an already anemic offense but we could do SOME things in free agency and there’s always a potential Hader trade that would bring in a couple of bats. Stearns and Arnold would have to get creative for sure. The next question would be does it make sense for Tampa?
  7. I think it's Narvaez for me. He's younger and has more potential to put up big offensive numbers. I'm comfortable with him and Nottingham as our two catchers. I think Pina gets non-tendered.
  8. I think that gets it done. I would hate having to trade one of our top pitching prospects along with Hiura but I understand Tampa would want a high end pitching prospect back in any trade with Snell. I wonder if Hiura & Antoine Kelly would get it done? And I agree, you then trade Hader for a bat or two.
  9. Trade Hiura to the Rays for Blake Snell Trade Hader to the Twins for Alex Kirilloff and Luis Arraez Sign Tommy La Stella 2 years/$15 million C Pina/Nottingham 1B Kirilloff 2B Arraez SS Urias 3B La Stella OF Yelich OF Cain OF Garcia DH Vogelbach Rotation: Snell Woodruff Burnes Houser Lindblom
  10. So the Carolina league would stay at high-A? And you’re projecting them to only have the six teams?
  11. Well that would make sense too. Who else do you think would have to be involved on the Brewers end?
  12. We might not have the prospects to get it done but I wouldn’t mind trading for Snell and then trading Hader to help replenish what we gave up to get Snell.
  13. The Braves proposal is the only that is remotely intriguing. The rest of them were slightly depressing.
  14. We need Snapper in the trade rumors thread ASAP.
  15. So does that pretty much leave Nashville for the Brewers then?
  16. With Cano being suspended for the year, I can see the Mets spending big on LeMahieu now.
  17. I’m hoping for Nashville or Indianapolis.
  18. 4 star recruit WR Markus Allen has committed to the Badgers.
  19. He’ll end up a Dodger or Yankee or some other high payroll team who can actually afford to pay him.
  20. Adding some high on base guys would be fantastic so I’m hoping for La Stella and Wong. Move Hiura over to 1B or full time DH.
  21. Keep the updates coming Lincoln! I can’t wait to see what the minor leagues will look like going forward. Hopefully we get a resolution soon.
  22. I know our farm system is ranked low by “experts” but I actually really like our top 10. Nice mix of pitchers and position players.
  23. So if the Midwest league and Carolina league both end up in high A, I’m guessing the Brewers would have to drop the Mudcats then? And then they’ll have a new low A team?
  24. I would be perfectly content with Taylor as the 4th outfielder and whoever else as the 5th. I’m more concerned with upgrading the corner infield spots. That is an absolute priority.
  25. A Hader trade is about the only way we’ll be able to bring in young, controllable talent. If we can’t trade Hader then we’ll be looking at another offseason of bringing in guys like Sogard and Smoak.
