Probably not a big surprise but Ken Rosenthal thinks we asked the Twins about Dozier AND Escobar.

It just always seems like the Brewers would rather go with the Wade Mileys and Brent Suters of the world over our top pitching prospects. Just look at how they've treated Brandon Woodruff. I'll never understand it.

How hilarious would this all be if Machado ends up in a Brewers uniform on Friday instead of a Dodgers.

Yeah Machado will kill us this weekend if he becomes a Dodger. Because that's just what happens to the Brewers.

Oh man, I want Machado as much as the next guy but if we give up Burnes for a rental that would be a shame.

Yeah it's gotta be Wednesday or Thursday. Not gonna happen before the all-star game and I dont think Baltimore drags this out beyond the first game back.

My dream scenario would be to acquire both Machado and Dozier without having to give up Burnes, Peralta or Hiura. The line-up with those two guys would be awesome, especially if we get a halfway decent Braun to finish the season.

Man what a difference a few days make. I was pumped up and feeling really good after the Braves series but it's a been a little bit of a disaster ever since. Like somebody said earlier in the thread, I think the guys are just laboring a bit and the all-star break can't come soon enough.

Either the Marlins are the best 38-56 team ever or we just didn't have it this series.

This isn't a very good matchup for the Brewers being that it's in Miami. Gonna have to string together more timely hits or it's going to be a long series.

I said before the series started that I would be pretty happy with a split and we're already guaranteed that at the minimum. This Atlanta team is really good. I could easily see them running away with their division.
