I could see Doug Melvin trading for a rental like Bregman but this regime just doesn't operate like that. Plus, his salary is just too much for the Brewers. -

Looking at MLB Pipeline's 2011 rankings, our top prospects included guys like Mark Rogers, Wily Peralta, Kyle Heckathorn, Scooter Gennett, Amaury Rivas, etc. I'm assuming there had to be guys on the big league roster who would have headed to Seattle too. Would love to know the proposed package. -
Hardin looks good early on but Meccage got hammered and is out of the game already.

This was just a gross loss. Offense appears to be struggling again and the bullpen has been just ok.

I wouldn't mind going all out for a guy like Ramirez. We haven't really made a big, splashy trade since Yelich which was over 7 years ago. We certainly have the prospect depth to do it, not to mention a bunch of draft picks this year to help replenish the system.

The Cubs offense is just too damn good. I don't see the Brewers keeping up. I think they get one of the wildcard spots though.

I think it's almost a certainty that one of Quintana or Nestor gets traded. -
Gonna need to get more production out of Chourio, Contreras, and Hoskins if this team wants to go places. These guys just aren't doing enough at the top of the lineup.

I’ve been following the minor leagues religiously for many years now and I have never seen this many injuries to top prospects. Hoping for the best for Pena.
