    A little late here but those ABs from Contreras, Chourio, and Yelich were absolutely brutal. They need to be better. Plain and simple.

    Would be great to score early and often tonight. The offense has been way too quiet early in games, even in the 10-run game against Seattle.

    Made has a bunch of multi-hit games since the all-star break.

    Yeah Mears was awful but this game was lost when the offense failed to hammer Cal freakin Quantrill, who looked like the second coming of Cy Young today.

    Cubs fans are pretty much convinced now that they are getting Suarez. Would be funny if the Brewers ended up getting him.

    Same thing different year - they'll trade for a no name reliever who will either be really good for them or absolutely awful and then grab a bat who won't cost much in terms of prospects.

    I'm here as well. Making the playoffs has been great the past 7 years but this isn't 2008 anymore where we were ecstatic just to make it in. It's time to go deeper and make a long run. Does acquiring a big piece help get us to that point? I don't know but I'm willing to take my chances and trade some big time prospects if the opportunity comes along.

    It's amazing that Yelich has a long on base streak going because he has looked awful the past couple of weeks. Chasing badly and swinging over the top of a ton of pitches. Hopefully he gets this out of his system quickly.

    Yeah I told myself before the road trip that I'd be very happing going 3-3 so this was amazing.

    I think that probably gets it done for Ramirez (or at least really close). Two top 100 prospects including a top 5 prospect in Made. That being said, I don't think Cleveland trades Ramirez and who knows if Ramirez even waives his no trade to come to Milwaukee.

    Adamczewski is just too advanced for low-A ball. Looking forward to his (soon to be) promotion to Appleton.

    How in the world are the Mariners only a handful of games above .500 with the starting pitching that they have plus Raleigh, Rodriguez, etc on offense?

    Feels like we've faced a pretty good pitcher every game during this run.

    If Cleveland decides to sell, what would it take to get Steven Kwan? An outfield of Chourio, Kwan and Frelick for the next few seasons would be sweet. I'm just not counting on Mitchell at this point. I've seen a few sites suggest that Kwan might become available if Cleveland decides to sell.

    I understand wanting to stand pat when you're on the kind of roll that the Brewers are on but let's keep the big picture in mind. A bat like Castro or O'Hearn or Naylor could come in very handy down the stretch and in the playoffs.

    Any chance we could get a running list of official signees in the first post just so it's easier to keep track? We used to have a complete list of draftees and then when someone signed, their name would be bolded along with their signing bonus.
