  1. Anybody think the Brewers will fast-track Odorizzi like they did Gallardo? Looking at Gallardo's minor league history, I see that he pitched in low-A West Virginia for all of 2005 (his first full season). Then in 2006, he split time between BC and Huntsville. In 2007, he made it to Milwaukee after pitching 13 games in Nashville. Will Odorizzi follow a similar path or is too early to tell?
  2. Yeah, I though he was only allowed to pitch in blowouts.
  3. So it safe to assume that Cappy will probably take Parra's place in the rotation, thus making his first start on Thursday?
  4. I agree that this is a tough month. 12-15 4+3+4 = 11
  5. Yeah, I was assuming Lucroy would get the start tonight since we went through the entire rotation except for Parra. If he catches two of the starting five pitchers, I'll be happy. I'm not holding my breath though.
  6. So glad we called up another one of our top prospects to ride the bench.
  7. You could say that about a lot of our pitchers. It's frustrating.
  8. They are due to give up a bunch of runs then I guess. Since Kottaras is starting tonight, I guess that means Lucroy will be catching Parra and Wolf. Go Crew.
  9. After the Gamel fiasco last year, I have zero confidence that Lucroy will get more than one or two starts per week.
  10. Well, now what do you do? You want Lucroy to play everyday, but he's not going to do that in Milwaukee. Does Kottaras remain the starting catcher for the remainder of the season with somebody besides Lucroy being the backup?
  11. Anybody wanna guess what the attendance will be tonight? I say 14,000.
  12. How did this turn into a Ben Sheets thread? Anyway, I can see them DFA Suppan or Vargas in the next few days to make room for Capuano. Not really a big change, but a change nonetheless.
  13. The bottom of that Twins line-up is just awful, and yet they have managed to score over 20 runs so far. Braddock looked good in his debut.
  14. Kottaras gets the start again today. We'll be lucky to see Lucroy start one game at this rate.
  15. It's ridiculous. Like you said Briggs, why not just call up Nashville's backup catcher if you're going to play Kottaras everyday? I'm still hoping he gets at least a few starts though.
  16. Great outing by Rogers tonight, but why only 65 pitches? Is that his pitch limit?
  17. I figured if the Brewers got swept this weekend, there would be a 99% chance of Macha getting fired on Monday. So much for that.
  18. I figured it would be something dumb like that. Estrada will be fun to watch again though.
  19. Yeah, I'm having bad flashbacks of Gamel already.
  20. I see that Lucroy is still in the game for Nashville. I'm guessing we'll see Kottaras start tomorrow night and hopefully Lucroy on Saturday.
  21. It'll be interesting to see if Lucroy starts tonight. If not, he's probably on his way to Minneapolis.
