  1. I think you can already bubble wrap a number of guys...Chourio, Contreras, Hoskins.
  2. DeJong goes to the Nationals for $1 million. Not that I was clamoring for DeJong but it really makes you wonder what we're doing. Are we really going with Durbin/Monasterio/Dunn? Iglesias is about the only guy left on the free agent market.
  3. D+ because they didn’t do anything other than trade Williams. The infield is a major concern for me and they didn’t do anything to ease my concerns.
  4. Who all from the DSL last year do we think starts the year in Carolina? Made for sure but maybe Luis Pena as well?
  5. We really aren't going to spend any money this winter, are we?
  6. Probably not, unfortunately. It's Hoskins and all we can do is hope that he has a bounce back year. Perhaps Tyler Black gets some playing time there if Hoskins struggles? Yelich should only touch the outfield grass in case of an emergency. We have three fantastic defensive outfielders in Chourio, Mitchell, and Frelick and Perkins as the backup. Coming off back surgery, Yelich needs to be the full-time DH and I don't care if that's not what he wants.
  7. Wow, quite the rise for Made. I absolutely cannot wait for the season to start.
  8. Interesting...they have Luis Pena quite high and Misiorowski near the bottom 10.
  9. I don't give two poops what position Yelich wants to play and nor should Murphy. We have too many great defensive outfielders and with Yelich coming off back surgery anyway, he should just accept the fact that his days playing the outfield are mostly over.
  10. No special rules as far as I know. Probably just wanted to play for a team on the coast more than anything.
  11. So what does this mean for those of us who have Spectrum cable? Does anything change?
  12. They almost signed Darvish that year too?
  13. I also wonder if the Brewers just genuinely like their roster as it currently stands and don't feel the need to spend big in free agency? The biggest need on the team is either a SS or 3B to replace Adames and that market is pretty bare in terms of free agency anyway.
  14. Couple new tidbits on Sasaki:
  15. Wow didn't see this one coming at all and that Diamondbacks rotation has a chance to be pretty gnarly. They are in a brutal division though.
  16. Are the Brewers holding a Winter Warm-Up this offseason? I can't find any information anywhere on a potential event. I know last year's got cancelled due to weather and before that I don't believe they had one for many years due to the pandemic. Perhaps they've just given up on having anything at this point.
  17. Yelich needs to be our full time (or nearly full time) DH for the remainder of his contract, particularly after having major back surgery. I'm not sure why the Brewers are so reluctant to make this move.
  18. MLB.com released their first full mock draft for 2025 and have the Brewers selecting high school SS Brady Ebel with the 20th pick. https://www.mlb.com/news/first-full-2025-mlb-mock-draft
  19. Brewers looking to trade Hoskins which probably isn't a huge surprise...
  20. So the Brewers will get pick #'s 20, 29, and 30 per MLB.com. Should be fun!
  21. I still think we’ll go out and grab a 3B or SS and have Durbin replace Monasterio in the super utility role. I really don’t think the Brewers are planning on just giving Durbin a starting spot.
