    That's funny because I was just about to post a thread on how in the world Rodriguez could still be in AA after playing a full season there a year ago and putting up respectable numbers. Really happy for him.

    Agreed. Mitchell, Chourio and then Contreras would be my top 3 going forward.

    Elder has an ERA over 5 but he pretty much dominated the Brewers back on July 30. Hoping for better results against Atlanta this time around but we've historically stunk playing in Atlanta so I don't have a ton of confidence right now.

    Yep, just shows you how unbelievable the 2023 draft was as well as the international signings the past couple of years.

    Montas is pitching fine. The issue is when your offense can't score more than three runs in any given game, that puts a lot of pressure on your pitching.

    I’m feeling a sweep here. Irvin has been good but we beat him up pretty good back in July. No more Winker to deal with either.

    Yeah I think he is their best hitter right now which is crazy considering the start he had and the fact that he’s just 20 years old.

    And he just turned 19 back in May.

    The AAA schedule goes pretty deep into September so there’s definitely still time for a Wilken call up. That being said, even if he’s called up and performs well in AAA, I’d be surprised if he’s our opening day 3B next year. I think he starts next year in Nashville regardless of what happens this year or next spring training.
