  1. Nice to see Escobar hitting the ball well lately. Average is up to .276.
  2. Perhaps they'll call up a starting pitcher (Hammond, DiFelice) to see what they can do. Maybe sit Hall for a few games in a row and start Dillon as zzzmanwitz stated. Other than that, I dont know what they would do.
  3. With the wind blowing out to right field at 30 mph, I kind of expected Huntsville to hit about 7 homeruns and score 22 runs. But it is only the 3rd inning...
  4. Anybody know how Wheeler's defense is? He's looking really good offensively!
  5. I wish the Brewers were as fun to follow as the Stars have been so far. Gamel is starting to catch up to LaPorta in rbi's and homeruns. Salome and Brantley still looking good too (but who isn't on that roster?).
  6. Call up the entire offensive unit in Huntsville and replace them with the current line-up.
  7. Could we get LaPorta, Gamel, Brantley, and Salome to come to Milwaukee until the current roster figures out how to hit?
  8. Not bold prediction: We score 2 early runs and fail to score the rest of the game. Suppan pitches 7 strong innings giving up only 1 run on 6 hits. Gagne walks 2 in the 9th and gives up the game winning double to Wes Helms.
  9. My spelling examples werent too good I guess, lol. But thats what I thought. Thanks guys.
  10. Wow, two more extra base hits for LaPorta and we're still in the 4th. Here's kind of a lame question, but I've always wondered how you pronounce Gamel. Is it like GamLE or GamELL?
  11. Just the number of extra base hits have been amazing- Gamel: 16 LaPorta: 15 Gillespie: 12 Errecart: 9 I dont want to be too greedy here, but let's hope Escobar gets going a little bit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. Escobar has his average up to .280 with 16 rbi's. LaPorta and Gamel continue to rake. This Huntsville team has been fun to follow so far.
  13. Nothing like stating the obvious, but the offense STINKS!
  14. Green and Ford continue to impress in BC. I'm looking forward to following these two all year.
  15. Sheets is gonna have to pitch another complete game shutout for us to have a shot at this one.
  16. Fantasy prediction: A last minute promotion will allow one fan to get a real at-bat at some point during the game. That fan will be me and I will hit the game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the 9th off Cordero.
  17. Lol what are the chances all of these games actually get played? These early season rainouts can be frusturating!
  18. I have a good feeling Gamel and LaPorta will be a pretty deadly 3-4 duo for Huntsville.
  19. We look pretty lost at the plate right now. Not looking good...
  20. Yikes! Welcome to March baseball up north!
  21. Once again, the game isn't on TV here in the Eau Claire area when it should be. Hope this doesn't continue into the regular season!
  22. What the heck? Minnesota hockey is on here in Eau Claire. I was looking forward to watching some baseball tonight.
  23. I think the big question is who is more pathetic tonight - our offense or Suppan?
  24. The line-up is ridiculous tonight. Talk about not giving your team a chance to compete even before the first pitch. Oh yeah, and Suppan is worthless.
  25. 4 runs to make up with this line-up and Soup on the mound? lol, game over.
