  1. Always thought a mega trade of Burnes and Adames to the Dodgers made too much sense to happen. Wouldn’t shock me one bit to see one or both end up in Dodger blue this winter.
  2. So if the Brewers and Woodruff can’t agree to a 2 year deal by Friday, is it fair to assume he’ll be non-tendered? Otherwise, they’re paying him over $10 million just to rehab for a year.
  3. Yawn. What a lazy hire.
  4. The only bad news is we only get Chourio for a few more games this year!
  5. That’s what’s most impressive to me is the fact that he’s cut the strikeouts way down and is making remarkable contact. Something just clicked about halfway through his season in Biloxi.
  6. Added a triple as well.
  7. Absolutely unconscious right now. Just a stud. Unfortunately, I believe he only has a few games left to play this winter and then no more Chourio for a bit.
  8. Same here. I would be shocked. Burnes and Williams I can see being traded but trading Peralta might be taking it a bit far.
  9. That list is pretty depressing but I guess that’s what happens when you’re having to scramble to hire someone. A big no thanks to Murphy. That would be about as exciting as watching paint dry.
  10. There will be some boos but more than half the stadium will be filled with Cubs fans so it’s going to be a mixture of both booing and cheering.
  11. The Mets will offer Counsell a nice chunk of money and it will be on Attanasio to match. That’s pretty much it.
  12. Brewers probably granting the Mets permission now so that if he does leave, Milwaukee can move forward more quickly and figure out a replacement.
  13. Yeah I'd much rather get a proven prospect or two who is close to contributing right away as opposed to a draft pick. Not trading Burnes this offseason would be extremely risky.
  14. Yeah we roughed him up a bit and then Burnes proceeded to get roughed up even more. Ugh
  15. These things usually end up being absolutely nothing but just for fun - maybe he’s signing an extension? Maybe he knows CC is coming back? Can’t be a trade or big free agent signing obviously.
  16. Chourio behind Holliday and Caninero is fair. I knew he had some speed but didn’t know he was THAT fast. Man I can’t wait until next year. Is it March yet?!?
  17. My thought is he is managing somewhere next year. If he was taking some time off, I think we would know that by now. Season’s been over with for a couple of weeks now and he had all of this past season to think about it. He’s either negotiating a new contract with the Brewers or waiting until the end of the month to negotiate a contract with a different team. Just my thoughts.
  18. Offense plays a role in this award which is bizarre but oh well.
  19. Brewers receive: Coby Mayo Samuel Basallo Chayce McDermott Orioles receive: Corbin Burnes Devin Williams
  20. On one hand, the Brewers could feel that Burnes, Peralta, and a bunch of question marks to go along with an iffy offense doesn't have much of a chance so might as well trade Burnes now and start a mini reset. On the other hand, you're pretty much punting on the 2024 season if you trade Burnes, at least from the pitching side of things.
  21. Yeah I can't figure out if this makes it more or less likely they trade Burnes. Could make an argument either way.
  22. I long for the day when Am Fam is as nuts as Citizens Bank Park. I’m sure it was like that back in 2018 but I just don’t remember.
