    Yeah they built in Friday as an off day for a reason so no need to try and play through crappy weather all day tomorrow. I’m just going to assume no game tomorrow.

    Yelich, Frelick, Chourio, and Perkins will have the outfield covered so no need for Wiemer and Ortiz and Monasterio will have 3B covered so no need for Black yet.

    The players would never in a million years agree to a deadline and it would be a waste of everyone’s time for MLB to present any sort of proposal that includes a deadline for free agency.

    Good point. 2025 payroll will be extremely low with Adames leaving and assuming Hoskins opts out.

    I’m assuming they’ll be some incentives built in for 2025 with number of innings pitched being the main incentive.

    I absolutely love this signing, even if he’s just ok next year. Who has actually returned from this type of injury and had success?

    The only news we're getting right now is coming from Rosiak, unless I'm missing someone. It's pretty disappointing.

    From what I have read and heard on podcasts, Ortiz is elite defensively at SS and many feel like his defense would be wasted at 2B.

    Snelling would be nice I guess but that Padres system doesn’t excite me all that much and we’re not getting Salas or Merrill. Would rather keep Frelick.

    I think I read that the Padres are in need of outfielders, which we certainly have an abundance of. I’m just not sure who on the Padres we’d be looking at.

    My guess is they are shopping Mitchell around for a starting pitcher.
