Absolutely no margin for error for these pitchers.
  2. wibadgers23
Any kind of a big inning here and we can move on with our evening.

Trading for Ohtani would make the CC trade look like a minor move. Just imagine how crazy it would be for two-plus months.

I would absolutely puke if we traded Chourio but I could live with anyone else, although it would still sting.
  6. wibadgers23
I think he’s the next big riser in our system.

Hoping to see Quero back in the lineup tonight! No information as usual on a possible injury.
  8. wibadgers23
This. I just can’t deal with Adames at the top of the lineup anymore.
  9. wibadgers23
    This is the worst.
  10. wibadgers23
That was such an awful AB by Adames. I’m really starting to lose my patience with him.
  11. wibadgers23
    Adames is completely useless. Wow.
  12. wibadgers23
    Yeah wth? That was crushed.
  13. wibadgers23
If I’m the Reds, I’m probably intentionally walking Contreras to get to Adames.
  14. wibadgers23
    Sal!!
  15. wibadgers23
If nothing else, we’ll get Ashcraft out of the game early. Whether that makes a difference or not we’ll see.
  16. wibadgers23
I like Wiemer but the dude can’t hit a breaking ball to save his life.
  17. wibadgers23
Frelick hitting cleanup again. I’m not sure that I like that spot for him but that’s probably more of an indictment on how bad our offense is right now.
  18. wibadgers23
Who’s not on the 40 man that could possibly get the call? Black?
  19. wibadgers23
I would consider Abner Uribe sort of like a bullpen acquisition without having to give up anything to get him. Justin Wilson as well. I just don’t want to utilize any of our resources to acquire bullpen arms when our offense desperately needs an upgrade, other than Frelick.

Chourio has raised his batting average by about 30 points over the past couple of weeks or so, which is not easy to do this late in the season. Really impressive stuff.

And hasn’t his strikeout numbers come way down? Still not walking a ton but love to see the strikeouts coming down. I mean, he’s the youngest player in all of AA and he’s among league leaders in many offensive categories in the Southern League.
  22. wibadgers23
Just a reminder that Black was in the same draft class as Frelick and is only a few months younger. I know the defense is still a work in progress but it almost seems comical at this point that Black is still in AA.
  23. wibadgers23
Quite the debut for Sal. Now why don’t we swap out Winker for Black and see what he can do (Frelick and Black were in the same draft, btw).
  24. wibadgers23
Fox went and switched to the damn Twins game so I missed most of it. Major bummer.
  25. wibadgers23
No Quero in the starting lineup tonight after he left last night’s game early. Must be banged up.
