  1. It's no surprise the two runs we scored came near the bottom of the order. The top of the lineup has been poop for awhile now.
  2. We're screwed if the Rockies put up a big inning here.
  3. The homerun barrage continues in Chattanooga. Fischer and Adamczewski with back to back in the 1st.
  4. I don't think I can take another piss poor offensive performance against Colorado's pitching staff. They better smoke this guy tonight.
  5. Probably time for Burke to move up to AAA? I'm a little puzzled why he's still in Biloxi at this point unless I'm missing something.
  6. This is embarrassing. Our offense is driving me nuts.
  7. I'm not sure what we need more right now - a starting pitcher or a brand new offense?
  8. Still plenty of time left in this game but man our offense is just not a fun group to watch right now. A lot of guys struggling at the same time and have been for quite some time. I wonder where the offense ranks across baseball over the past six weeks or so?
  9. Looks like the offense is gonna have to pick up the pitching and actually win a game for once.
  10. Completely agree. If I'm remembering correctly, I believe we had two bullpen games last year in the NLCS and started Jose Quintana in another. Do we really want to have to go through that again? I don't.
  11. Refreshed top 30 from MLB Pipeline. https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects/brewers/
  12. This is just the reality of how this front office works. We haven't seen Matt Arnold trade away any blue chip prospects yet. Esteury Ruiz was the closest. This is why I'm done getting my hopes up every trade deadline. If we do something big then great. If not, then it's just par for the course.
  13. And I think that is Matt Arnold's philosophy too, even if Miller isn't a rental. It's fun to think about what the bullpen could be with Miller in it but you're probably right that they'd be much more likely to pursue Skubal.
  14. The Rattlers are struggling big time right now. They have not won a game since the all-star break and have scored nine runs in their last five games. Perhaps all of the promotions are finally catching up to them.
  15. Yeah they traded their top prospect at the time who is now the 2nd best prospect in baseball. We ain't trading Made.
  16. I could definitely get on board with trading for Miller and then going out and getting a SP who won't cost as much as Skubal. Someone like Wacha or Gausman if he would be willing to waive his NTC.
  17. Also, the Dodgers traded for both Max Scherzer and Trae Turner in 2021 but ended up losing in the NLCS. I'm sure there are tons of other examples.
  18. Lucky you because you're gonna get to watch an absolutely loaded lineup with Dinges joining the team.
  19. Speaking of scouts, would have to imagine there will be some on hand to watch Hardin pitch tonight.
  20. Yeah I was absolutely convinced last year we were going to finally make an all in type trade at the deadline and we ended up with Lockridge and an injured reliever whose name I can't even remember. Until we actually do make a big move, I'm just going to assume it's another year of very minor trades.
  21. It's fun to think about those kinds of names but this front office wouldn't touch a trade like that with a ten foot pole.
  22. Offense was ugly again today but we got the win. How about an offense explosion against Colorado this weekend? That would be fun.
