    Stearns has really stunk up the joint the last two years acquiring relievers at the deadline.

    Will be interesting to see who’s in and who’s out of the lineup tonight for Nashville. Could be indicative of a call up.

    At this point, I’d guess either Turang or Ruiz for the position player. Not sure if there’d be enough playing time for either one of these guys to warrant a call up but we’ll see.

    The bullpen sucks. The offense couldn’t do poop tonight and we can’t beat the Pirates or any other crappy team. I need a mental break from these guys.

    Another bullpen failure. What is their ERA in August? It has to be astronomical.

    One of the most frustrating games of the season and it’s not even over yet. The story of this season will be struggling to beat the really crappy teams in our division. I’m just so dang frustrated.

    I’m convinced we won’t win another game against the Pirates this year.

    Or just have Yelich DH and sign a real 1B or stick with Rowdy.

    Yeah the Pirates obviously stink and they've been especially bad lately. A sweep would be really nice.

    I said this in another thread but Wiemer has a chance to be the best out of the whole bunch, IMO. The combination of power, speed and elite defense is really exciting.

    Wiemer might end up being the best of the bunch when it’s all said and done but I think Mitchell makes the most sense in this situation. Frelick, Ruiz and Wiemer are not far behind.

    Mark A is such a nerd. The fact that he thought signing Andrew McCutchen to a one year deal was stretching the payroll is just weird.

    Noticed that too but difficult to know if it’s a scheduled day off or not. Guess we’ll see!
