  1. Regarding Frelick - I could see a move up to Nashville soon but the Brewers don’t promote prospects from AA to the big leagues. Would be fun but not happening.
  2. Frelick having himself quite the day so far. 4-4 with a homerun and we’re only in the 6th.
  3. Really excited to see what Mitchell is doing since his return from injury. Hopefully he can keep it going and stay healthy. Frelick just keeps hitting.
  4. Our big offensive prospects have been struggling a bit lately - Wiemer, Valerio, Chourio, etc. Mitchell is nowhere to be found. Turang has been fairly consistent all year in Nashville but has hit for virtually no power.
  5. The Shuckers came up just short in the 9th but Valerio had a big night with 4 hits including his 10th homerun of the season.
  6. Between the two of them, Turang and Whitley left 18 men on base.
  7. Tough day for Chourio - 0-5 with three strikeouts. You don’t see too many days like that for him. On the bright side, Hedbert continues to stay hot with the bat.
  8. And now he has two homers a double and 8 RBI’s on the night. Arguably his best game as a professional. Biloxi absolutely pouring it on tonight offensively.
  9. Big nights for future Brewer outfielders Wiemer, Frelick and Chourio.
  10. That was not a strike on Yelich but he likely would have rolled over to the right side for an easy out anyway.
  11. Really glad to see him back. Biloxi’s boxscores weren’t the same without him.
  12. The legend continues…Chourio with a homerun in his first AB of the day.
  13. Chourio just smacked another homerun to dead center to give the Mudcats the lead in the 8th.
  14. Some unbelievably high praise for Chourio here.
  15. This team is playing like it’s the 11th game of a 10 day road trip. Injuries aren’t helping either, obviously.
  16. Nice win despite Yelich being completely useless. What a disaster.
  17. Chourio continues to impress with a four hit day. Speaking of impressive, I wonder if Tyler Black is knocking on the door of a promotion to Biloxi. He’s had a real nice season so far.
  18. Bases loaded, one out and we get nothing. Then Brewer killer Goldschmidt strikes again. Man I hate this game sometimes.
  19. Perhaps Hedbert is turning a corner? He’s had some pretty good games lately. It’s great to see.
  20. I know Snell hasn’t been very good this year so far, but Burnes will have little to no margin for error tonight. Between the injuries and the fact that we’re facing a lefty, we’ll be lucky to score more than a couple runs if we’re lucky.
  21. Yeah Hader is destined to remain a Brewer through the end of his contract and then sign a big deal somewhere else, just like Fielder.
  22. When Kelly is good, he is REALLY good. I’m pretty confident he’d be a top 50 prospect right now if it weren’t for the injury last year.
  23. Wow, what an amazing jump for Chourio in such a short amount of time.
  24. Two big gripes: 1. I absolutely hate playing the Braves. Always have. 2. Our issues against LH pitchers is almost comical at this point. If you are an opposing manager, why wouldn’t you just toss out every single lefty you have?
