    So I was walking around Fond du Lac on Saturday and some parent was watching their children as they played in 3 feet of flood water. That doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

    I am really hoping that once Gagne and Riske come back Tavarez and DeFelice are the two sent packing. DeFelice serves a purpose as the baby seal in blow out games but Tavarez serves no purpose whatsoever other than limiting the number of players on the 25 man roster available for a swimsuit calender.

    What kind of team has their official color as Purple? Seriously The Vikings are by far my most hated team. I hate purple, I hate that darn bugle, I hate Darren Sharper and Ryan Longwell, and the Metrodome should be blown up. I am going to laugh so hard when Arod and the Pack beat the Vikings by 30 on opening weekend. They thought they might have a chance with Favre retiring... HA!! Fat chance This should be in the Vent Thread probably. I don't really hate the Twins all that much, they were the small market team I loved to cheer for since the Crew sucked for so long. I was a big fan of Kirby Puckett.

    Certianly didn't see that coming. I attened a speech he gave on ethics in the media while I was in college. While I thought I tended to be a little biased to the left, he was an extremely likeable and sincere individual

    Who even writes checks anymore? The only check I write is rent once a month? Does anyone know how you can get the credit card companies to stop sending you credit card offers? It is ridiculous. I am contributing to wiping out the rainforest and I don't like it. And I don't need any stinking credit cards

    I think Roger Clemens, Any Pettite, and Roy Oswalt had a little more to with Houston getting to the WS that year than Brad Ausmus or Adam Everett, they were just along for the ride.

    Well Fond du Lac certainly didn't escape flooding either. I never thought the Fondy River would ever go over its banks but it did last night. I had to try four different routes to get to work today.

    Whoever came up with the idea to "pause" Family Guy in order to advertise for the Bill Engvall show should be shot. It drives me crazy.

    Hall also has much more ability to look awful. He also has the ability to look very good. Right now I'll take Counsell's over Hall because Hall ability to look good is fading fast in my mind.

    The loss of Fox, Guzman, and Ward must really be killing the Cubs right now. Maybe it is just their year, everyone is performing and so far no major injuries (Unless you count Soriano's DL stink when he sucked) It is going to be tough for the Cards, hopefully we can take advantage.

    Why do they even do billboard advertising anymore? Seriously, I know I sure as heck don't pay attention. And people if you are trying to sell a car by the roadway it would help if you made the sign with your phone number and price bigger than 5 inches tall. I hate the Subway commercials. And to the guy who promotes his identity theft software - Don't you think you should change your advertising since your identity was stolen? Freaking idiot. Please people do not buy that stupid product, it basically does absolutely nothing.

    Well their two best players are now gone in Wainright and Pujols. This would be the BRewers equivalent of losing Sheets and Braun. I think we know how that would turn out.

    I have always like the Dells as a weekend getaway. The place sure isn't bargain basement, but you get what you pay for, a pretty good place to visit with tons of things to do. I haven't gone their in the last couple years, but the Del Bar is still my wife and I's favorite "fancy" restuarant. It is extremely expensive but it was the best restuarant food I ever ate.

    I just got back from my weekend trip to Minocqua. The entire area (Minocua, Tomahawk, Eagle River) lost power for about 4 hours Friday night. It was incredibly windy no huge storms though, driving back I saw som monumental rain puddles

    Are you sure we miss Oswalt? He pitched last night, that would put him on track for the Brewers series. Or am I missing something?

    Why the heck do we need to make a thread saying the Cubs lost? So what, it isn't like this is September 30th. People are making way to big of a deal with the Us vs. the Cubs talk. As long as we keep winning who the heck cares what the Cubs do. I know we love to hate the Cubs but this is a little ridiculous

    What is our Team ERA on this homestand? It has to be crazy low.

    All I care about is getting to 90 wins, if we do that we have a pretty good shot at the wild card or a division title. We are 31-28 with 103 games to go. We would need to go 59-44 the rest of the way to get to 90 wins. The ways things are going now it seems possible to me.
