  1. Yes, but at least then I would be surrounded by tens or hundred of other fans, also "watching" the game (as I believe they acted the plays out on a stage in front of a crowd), and be able to discuss the events as they unfolded. Edit: By the way, "somebody" just turned an awesome double play.
  2. Would just like to chime in that not having a chat room open tonight is killing me.
  3. I went to the Badger basketball game there last winter.....after the game we went to The Keg of Evanston and watched some football (I think it was during the NFL playoffs). Seemed like a decent place to watch sports, but I doubt that it would be showing the Brewers game unless they have the Extra Innings package. I figure I'll buy MLB.tv for the month of September and then if we're still playing in October (god willing) all the games will be on national TV.
  4. Everybody wave goodbye! Also, this is a message board, not a chat room.
  5. jloos19 - he was probably talking about me (I mentioned it in the chat room), but I'm not going to be a freshman. I'll be starting a 15-month graduate program at Medill (Integrated Marketing Communications). Got my undergrad in Finance at UW-Madison.
  6. Darnit, uecker9......you beat me to the Van Halen reference.
  7. Wow, I haven't seen arrogance and condescension like this since.......sorry, I can't finish that sentence. I've never seen anything like this.
  8. I don't even have the strength to vent anymore.....the way we're losing games now is just laughable.
  9. Sorry, I should have been more clear with my earlier statement. What I meant when I said "If it was worth it" was that.....it's almost never worth it to sue. Even if the guy deserves to pay for being a moron.
  10. Edit: Post retracted. All in good fun, Yaz. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. Sounds like a quack. If it was worth the hassle, I'd sue his ass.
  12. I think the problem that most folks have is that we've seen this situation A LOT lately and the results haven't been acceptable.
  13. I saw U2 last year at the Bradley Center and thought it was pretty damn good. Was Bono over the top? Sure. But it was still very entertaining and loud. The visuals were pretty cool too.
  14. 20fry, there something I need to tell you......I'm Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC, and we're doing a story on people who solicit teens online for sex.....
  15. Is it your belief that they do NOT make the rockin' world go 'round? Because I have it on pretty good authority that 'twas not Atlas that held the Earth on his shoulders, but rather a fat bottomed girl. GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE!
  16. Let's face it, "Freeway" Mike McCarter deserves a show more than this guy. At least that would be entertaining.
  17. Wanna hear something funny? I didn't know Antone Williamson was white until reading this thread. Anyhow, here's my entry: http://www2.jsonline.com/sports/brew/image/2000/may/haynes502.jpg
  18. Parra is starting the first game of the double-header, in order to help conserve as much of the bullpen as possible (he's already stretched out since he was a starter in AAA). I think it was announced last weekend....I first heard on the WSSP postgame show on Sunday.
  19. Costas has fired back at Bonds. Man I love this guy. redsox.bostonherald.com/otherMLB/view.bg?articleid=1013600 "As anyone can plainly see, I?m 5-6½ and a strapping 150, and unlike some people, I came by all of it naturally," Costas said Thursday in a telephone interview. "I?ve actually always had a pretty cordial relationship with Barry," Costas said. "I have no ill feelings toward him personally. I regard him as one of the greatest players of all time who got inauthentic boost and then became a superhuman player. I wish him no ill whatsoever."
  20. Watching this team right now is like watching Mike Vick electro-shock a puppy.
  21. Nice dig. For the record, I boo the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  22. Douchebaggery from a Red Sox fan? I don't buy it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  23. Yep, the bar is called "Kettle of Fish" www.onmilwaukee.com/visitors/articles/kettle.html
  24. That's amazing.....they referred to the catcher as a "behind", and that's 150 years before Johnny Estrada! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Have you ever seen Conan O'Brien's adventures playing vintage base ball? Hilarious. LINK
