  1. Did we ever even see a replay of the earlier roughing the passer penalty?
  2. That last one was a crap call. Undersized player made it look worse than it was.
  3. I feel like there's some Mat Gamel in that swing, but I could be misremembering.
  4. Would the Brewers have a couple more wins this season if Alexander would have stayed on as a starter in place of Ashby? Factoring in being able to use Ashby out of the bullpen in that scenario, seems likely.
  5. As the OP of that thread, let me know if there's anything I can do to help un-sticky it. I assume y'all can take care of that on the backend, though...
  6. Assuming this was in reference to the Softball forum? It was a good run. I looked for a way to un-pin the 2020 Season thread that came over, but couldn't find the option.
  7. Would probably root for them if Machado weren't on the team. Really don't want that jerkstore to see any success.
  8. Would love to know how that inning might have ended if Tellez hadn't blundered the throw on the pickoff. Had an easy out there to empty the bases with 2 outs. Big momentum swing to allow the SB instead. Hader threw a HBP shortly after that.
  9. Slowly resigning myself to this being a team to just try to tolerate vs one to really enjoy. Even in victory. Outstanding pitching often times, everything else ranging from pedestrian to disappointing. Pardon the split infinitives...
  10. Thank you for the tip. Using this workaround now. TV frustrating.
  11. We laud Woodruff for being an ace, a #1 on any other team, then criticize the manager for sending him out to start the 7th inning with 89 pitches against an atrocious offense.
  12. If anyone is in need of a ticket into the game, I have 1 extra ticket in section 312. Just message me with your MLB Ballpark App email address and I will forward.
  13. I have 1 extra ticket in section 312 for today's game. If interested, message me with your MLB Ballpark App email address and I will forward.
  14. Fans who were in attendance of last Sunday's game at AmFam Field (which was Corbin Burnes bobblehead day) are also eligible to receive "a free Corbin Burnes Cy Young Day Digital Collectible". Appears to be an official MLB offer, partnering with a company named Candy.com to provide the NFT. Just curious if anyone has followed through on this -- is it simple or a hassle, any strings attached, any reason to avoid it (or to definitely take advantage of it)? I wouldn't have sought out an NFT without receiving the offer emails from MLB. My first reaction was to pass, but I'm wondering if I might regret not claiming this collectible or if it just might be neat to give an NFT a try. (Mods: I almost put this in off-topic. Please move if it doesn't belong in the Brewers Talk forum.)
  15. Narvaez? Thought the throw was going home. Crafty double clutch by the cutoff man.
  16. Didn't even get behind it to charge it. Just terrible. Choked away two straight games to an awful team. Very unpleasant. Yesterday's defensive clownshow especially...
  17. No issues for me. On the guide at the usual 1309 and 309 channels, and working fine.
  18. Cartoon image of Prince Fielder, David Ortiz, and ??? chowing down in a dugout. Can't remember what this is from and why I have a copy on my computer. From an all-star game / home run derby broadcast, maybe?
  19. Are the Bengals the NFL version of the Brewers? Expansion team in late 60s, Super Bowl appearances in 80s but never won it all, long playoff win drought, small market, easy to overlook...
  20. This AZ St coaching staff includes Herm Edwards and Marvin Lewis ... and Shawn Slocum. That's an incredible amount of NFL experience on a mid-tier college program coaching staff.
  21. Presumably very few people would have known ahead of time which balls were to be used in which games, but theoretically anyone who did have that knowledge could have had a really nice advantage for making over/under bets? Seems a bit crooked.
  22. If we burn our wings flying too close to the sun If the moment of glory is over before it's begun If the dream is won Though everything is lost We will pay the price But we will not count the cost When the dust has cleared, and victory denied A summit too lofty, river a little too wide If we keep our pride Though paradise is lost We will pay the price But we will not count the cost And if the music stops, there's only the sound of the rain All the hope and glory, all the sacrifice in vain But if love remains Though everything is lost We will pay the price But we will not count the cost
