    i havent read this whole post, but why would the brewers be interested in baldelli when tony gwynn is almost ready to make the big leagues. i have a feeling they are the same type of player. TGJ can't even begin to dream about imagining having a .850 OPS.

    Wow. I thought 'Doesn't Get the Bit Guy' only existed on certain other message boards. Well, when someone says "Thanks in advance to anyone who can let me know," I would assume he's actually serious. Given how common that misspelling is, it's not an unrealistic question.

    I think for the most part people pronounce his first name the english way instead of the spanish way.

    Dennis is out of options, so I'd have to believe that he'll at least have a couple months to show what he can do.

    It's a fair point, and certainly made a lot harder by the fact that ezboards's search feature completely sucks. If/when we get on Brian's board, this should dramatically help, as then you really can just search on the topic and see if it's been talked about recently.

"That's definitely going to be something the Marlins go after," an unnamed National League executive said. "That guy fits everything the Marlins are about." To get Baldelli, the newspaper reports that the Marlins might be willing to trade Josh Johnson, Scott Olsen or Ricky Nolasco." Given the whole "Crawford's available but not Baldelli" vibe, I was surprised by this.

    Sweeet. It will be very interesting to see what happens if he tears it up and is on the club in the next year or two. For example: Prince-Hardy/Perez-Perez/Hardy-Braun Hall-Weeks-Hart.
