After being the arm on the mound when the Mets lost their chance at the series, would anyone here think Aaron Heilmans price would be lower than ever? There aren't that many GM's stupid enough to think that.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'd much rather see the Cardinals than the Mets. Personally, the only person on the Cards I find interesting to watch is Pujols. I'd much rather watch Reyes, Beltran, Wright, etc..
Look at rluz's table. Why is he so bad in June if it's a weather thing? Pre/Post All-Star is not the same as cold/warm weather. Heck, it's always warm in Florida anyway.
I'm rooting for the Mets just so I don't feel like jumping out the window when Fox gushes over how tough Eckstein is when he stays in the game after hitting a finger because he doesn't hold the bat correctly while bunting.
That's the same language I found. I am assuming this means that if he is traded it is guaranteed money rather than a team option. Which makes sense if you think about it. What player is going to sign a contract that takes away money if they happen to get traded?
How many postseason home runs does our projected lineup for next year have besides the aged veterans Miller and Koskie? I'm mentally restraining rluz right now...
EDIT: Braun finishes with 3 hits tonight, the 3-run dinger, 2 doubles, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. June or July is going to be a very interesting time.. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
All I'm saying is that someone a lot smarter than me kept trotting Ryan out there for 5,386 innings. But what does that really have to do with control? Obviously too pitch that long you have to be good, but that doesn't mean his control was that great. And arguing "below average" versus "no control" is mostly semantics.
