    Which hypothetical big bat would fit given our current big bats and the positions they occupy? And would the marginal upgrade be worth it for a team that, yes, has to consider the financial limits within which they operate? Of all the years, this is the most reasonable one to say, "You know what, we're just going to run it back because we're better than everyone else and our young players are just going to get better."

    Per the Brewers site: "Single-game tickets for the NL Championship Series and World Series will be available for purchase at a later date. Continue to check back for more details." I'd expect that yes, there will be seats available for more than SSH paid, but less than crazy prices on the secondary sites.

    That game was a ton of fun. Guys near us in the stairwell after the game were chanting "P-C-K! P-C-K!" In retrospect with the long layoff and off days, going full bullpen this game was brilliant - they needed work anyway and you don't have a game tomorrow, so almost everyone's available on Wed. As already noted, Quinn may well be pitching with the wind blowing in. Hats off to Murph.

    Based on what Murph's done lately, I expect we'll get Uribe for whichever inning is highest leverage, unless it's 9-3 again, in which case whatever.

    Let's not devolve this debate into trying to declare who's a fan or not. People can be optimistic or pessimistic, or have different points of view about any number of things. Just saying "you must not be a fan" isn't helpful.

    He's done it multiple times this year already though, I don't think it's a big deal. If Priester does pitch today, I'm sure they already have it mapped out.

    Exactly. Ideally Ashby blows through 6 outs, Priester gives you 4-6 innings, and you're looking great for Game 3, when you can let Quintana go as long as he's rolling and yank him as soon as you need to.

    On the other hand, this Detroit/Seattle series has been fantastic.

    Yeah, I doubt Q was considered for game 2 for that reason. You want Priester pitching 2 games in this series if necessary. Starting with Ashby makes sense with some of the lefties they have.

    Patrick and Gasser aren’t in as starters. But they can both give a quality couple innings. Our bullpen is legit.

    FWIW, Brewers have released additional tickets in some sections for all games. Don't pay jacked up prices somewhere else.

    In case others, like me, don't have a streaming service that offers TBS: you can get a 21-day free trial of YouTube TV, which conveniently takes you to the World Series...

    Well, you can't control the list, but if you aren't marking a forum as read, I highly recommend doing so. Then the next time you go back in you can tell based on the font which threads on the list have new content, and if you click the blue dot/star on the left it'll jump you to the first unread post. Even if you don't mark the whole forum as read, that's still a helpful way to view threads and keep track of where you left off.

    I'm sure PCA made a play or two, and I think Tucker had a nice catch at some point that took a hit away.

    After this year, make that 21-3. Only the Yankees won games 2 and 3.
