But Green may not be the PTBNL. So right now it's LaPorta, Jackson, Bryson and one more guy (maybe Green) for CC.
  2. craigharmann
So Taylor Green may be the PTBNL?
  3. craigharmann
Along potentially with Taylor Green as the PTBNL.
  4. craigharmann
Wow. Really? Mark A wouldn't get the guy on his jet? Come on! And his first name is Carsten? No wonder he goes by C.C.
  5. craigharmann
Turnbow. For the love of all that's good and right in this world, can we end the Turnbow project NOW?
  6. craigharmann
OH MY GOSH!!!! DM needs a lifetime contract extension, as does Jack Z and every scout on the Brewers. This is it? We spent most of the last few days worrying about giving up LaPorta, Green and Cain/Lucroy? And this is what it turns out to be? DOUG MELVIN FOR PRESIDENT!!!! WOW!!! I love this trade! Are you kidding me? Someone seriously pinch me.

This is a perfect day! Brewers win, sweep the Pirates, Braun's an all-star, the offense fires on all cylinders, Mota actually doesn't implode, and best news of all, our pitching has been strengthened with the addition of CC!!! What more could a Brewer fan want?

When was the last time there was a major trade involving the Brewers when a top flight starting pitcher, let alone any really good player, COMES to the Brewers? This is a historical day and I am SOOOOO excited! Now we have to think of a nickname or some kind of statement. Like in the old days "Spahn and Sain and pray for rain". Sheets, Sabathia, Suppan = SSStrikeouts!!!!
  9. craigharmann
    Was it Jerry Garcia?
  10. craigharmann
    Don't forget the draft picks!!

Also in that linked blog, it sounds like the Jays are offering A.J. Burnett for Esco or Hardy....interesting. If you really wanted to go for it, get CC, and Burnett to go with Bush, Sheets and Soup. Make Manny your long man, and that should put you into the postseason.

Hall needs a change of scenery. There's really not a need for him to be in Milwaukee. And he's better than Jack Wilson. DM, get it done!
  13. craigharmann
Honestly, is Jack Wilson worth some of the Dodgers' top prospects? I wouldn't mind the thought of trading JJ, especially for Broxton.
  14. craigharmann
Who is Connor Gillespie? Did we get him in the Bill Hill trade?
  15. craigharmann
I go out of town away from the computer and all contact with the outside world and come back to this? Wow! If it's LaPorta, Green and Cain, that's not awful. Cain is blocked by a whole lot of guys and you have to give some to get some. My biggest frustration is in listening to the 4 letter radio network from the East Coast, they're assuming that Sheets is gone. And the Brewers have no way of resigning him. I'm really hoping this deal gets done.
  16. craigharmann
Yeah, I watched it. Dumb stuff. I wasn't impressed at all, not that I expected to be.
  17. craigharmann
Has he been that way since he gave up roids?
  18. craigharmann
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO All I really have to say. I'm assuming that Villy is now our long relief guy?
  19. craigharmann
I was just going to say that! Also, if you put NL and AL standings together, the Brewers would be in 7th place overall in baseball. They're doing great, and it's just a matter of the Cubs coming back to the pack.
  20. craigharmann
What Prince is too slow to get to, Russell can get to it.
  21. craigharmann
Vasquez sucks. And Guillen is an idiot for not getting him out sooner. Cubs up now. BOOOOOOO
  22. craigharmann
Please no Gange!! Keep him away from this team for as long as possible! The team started playing better once he went away.
  23. craigharmann
Joe Crede made a great defensive play, which I'm sure will be seen on Sports Center. It sure would have been nice had the Brewers picked him up over the winter.
  24. craigharmann
Yeah, but it's been better than Sal Bando and Dean Taylor's "improvement" of the team.
  25. craigharmann
Glad I didn't make the 1 and a half hour drive to watch Nashville play Round Rock tonight. Can't Gagne just stay there for the rest of the year?
