  1. I spend a day at Cedar Point every summer. Well worth the drive. Raging Bull would be a very average roller coaster at CP. That said, Raging Bull is probably my favorite at Great America. There was a very good coaster they built around 2005 that i went on once and it was outstanding, but the thing was usually not running and thus they tore it down maybe two years ago, i forget the name of it though? It was blue and had an odd name i remember. Deja Vu?
  2. TLR, before the game, said: "It is critical that it is handled by his boss and his teammates. It doesn't involve us, so I'm not worried about it." How on Earth is it any of your business? I can't stand him.
  3. I was stopped at a red light behind a silver Hyundai with a BF.net bumper sticker today at Main St. & Hwy. 18 in Waukesha.
  4. Is Johnny Drama still trying to get work? Yeah. He's more insufferable than ever. I used to think he was endearing, but he now seems like a delusional jerk with an enormous sense of entitlement. For me, Entourage jumped the shark this season...the Ari/NFL ownership storyline is ridiculous, IMO.
  5. RIP George. This news will undoubtedly consume the ASG.
  6. Not only is Strasburg one of the best pitchers in the game right now, but he's a cash cow for the Nationals. They're selling tickets and merchandise at an unprecedented rate.
  7. Washington, DC humidity. It's horrible.
  8. Pitching, only: "I'm Shakin'" -- Rooney "Guilty Pleasure" -- Cobra Starship
  9. Well, looks like we've reached the end. Good effort nonetheless.
  10. wait...was this not a Fox blackout from the start? Fox is showing night games tonight.
  11. I jumped into the shower when it was 6-2. I am astounded by the comeback...please, please hold on.
  12. I'm 1-3. I saw the April 7 win (a promising comeback victory). I, then, impulsively went to the first two Braves games and the first Phillies game. I'm spending 6-7 weeks in DC until the beginning of July, so I was kind of sad that I'd be missing so many games. I'm the type of fan that attends about half of the home games. But, at this point, I'm more sad that we're more than likely witnessing the end of the baseball renaissance in Milwaukee. I love this team through the thick and thin, but I've gone from apathy to kind of sad lately. I still can't wait for July 5, though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. It's frightening/depressing that this team has not had a lead at any point during this homestand.
  14. Yeah, this is weird. I'm feeling very apathetic about this team.
  15. Why not? There are several teams that own their planes. I remember seeing both a Miami Heat and a formerly Seattle Supersonics plane in MKE I saw the NJ Devils plane parked at Newark Int'l, too.
  16. How on Earth did this team score 111 pts on Monday?
  17. @ SD: 1-1 @ LAD: 1-2 @ ARZ: 2-1 ATL: 2-1 PHI: 1-2 @ CIN: 2-0 @ PIT: 1-1 @ MIN: 1-2 HOU: 3-0 NYM: 2-1 @ FLA: 1-2 6 + 11 + 2 = 19 17-11
  18. If the foul difference is 20ish fouls against us this Game 6, I'm calling shananegins If the NBA wanted Atlanta to win this series, they would have made sure they won Game 5. Davis and Bavetta officiated that game and we still won, so I doubt we see any shenanigans tonight.
  19. If Atlanta is really favored on the road tomorrow, I'm flying to Vegas right now. Hawks have opened as 2-point favorites.
  20. Bruce Bowen on Sportscenter: I believe the Hawks will force a Game 7 and they will use this as a learning experience for their next series. Ugh...How can you have so much faith in a team that coughed up a 14-0 run in the final four minutes and has been total garbage on the road?
  21. This feels a lot like September 28, 2008.
  22. I realize it's too late to remove the banner, but I thought it was kind of dumb in the first place. His accomplishments happened in San Diego and while it's appropriate to celebrate the 600 save mark, I think the banner was overkill. And, now that he has blown up, the Brewers seem to be in an awfully awkward situation.
