  1. Looked like his foot was on the base, he caught it, then his foot slid off.
  2. No games on Wisconsin Public Television this year. More games may be added to the TV schedule.
  3. The fact that Trevathan wasn't ejected says a lot about the referees. They were horrible tonight.
  4. Think this is the closest we get to 85 wins until 2019 at the earliest.
  5. If you think this is a Brewer only problem, take a look at the game in St. Louis tonight.
  6. The new Modern Family episode was pretty funny.
  7. Despite what Brian and Bill think, replay does have access to more than FS Wisconsin cameras.
  8. Your problem is saying/thinking/believing the Brewers have the best fans in baseball. The only people who say that are guys like Schlesinger whose job it is to sell tickets and media guys to help promote the team to sell even more tickets. Inconveniencing fans doesn't stop them. If I'm a Cubs fan and get a $75 ticket to a game against the Brewers at Miller Park in the loge diamond box and have to buy two more tickets that cost say $50 in the loge diamond box I'm now in $175. A similar seat for a weekday afternoon game against the Reds at Wrigley costs around $75. Being conservative, I could probably sell those two loge diamond box seats for $35-40. That now costs the Cubs fan an extra $25 just going to a game at Miller Park vs a weekday game at Wrigley. I'm assuming the person would have to take at least a half day off of work on that weekday game and the weekend game costs a similar price, so there's really no financial incentive to either not go or go to Wrigley instead. This is a good way to get 25,000 people at the game instead of 40,000 with a large number of Cubs fans anyways. "Hey (friend/relative from Wisconsin), can you go to the Miller Park box office and pick up (x number of) tickets to the Cubs game on (date). I will be happy to reimburse you for the time it took you and for the tickets/gas itself. Let me know what you think a fair cost is." Once again, there isn't a single thing that can be done. Chicago is too big, the Cubs have way too big of a fan base and Milwaukee is way too close, especially to the Northern Chicago suburbs for them to not come. They're going to find their way here regardless of whatever policy is implemented, so deal with it and take as much money as you can from them. That's why none of those other examples work. Those places are all far enough away where they can at least sort of control who gets into the stadium/arena.
  9. Since this thread was made Chacin has given up 11 earned runs in 14 innings in 3 road starts bringing his road ERA on the season to 6.93. Once again, he's a completely different pitcher at Petco. He wouldn't help us at all if he had to pitch half the time at Miller Park and in a bunch of other hitters parks.
  10. But but but nothing can be done! Umm, that doesn't keep Cubs fans out.
  11. Cubs fans will buy those tickets and then just sell them on the secondary market. There's really nothing that can be done. Only allow Wisconsin zip codes? Well, I'm pretty sure most Cubs fans know somebody from Wisconsin who can get tickets for them not to mention the Cubs fans that actually live in Wisconsin.
  12. There have been times when a player has been pushed off the base. This was not one of those times. He was almost able to keep his hand or foot on the base without leaving but he was off for a split second with the tag applied.
  13. Could that be because this one time a ball didn't come flying at you at 100 mph? And I'm sorry, with all the people that get up and move around and block views, there's no way that even if a person is paying attention that they could be focused on the ball 100% of the time trying to look around a person or having a person stand up in front of them. Put up the nets, it's not distracting in the least and doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game.
  14. If someone would beat Baez with that cane, that would be terrific.
  15. Hope Phillips isn't pinch hit for. Not much difference between Phillips vs a lefty and Broxton vs anybody right now.
  16. Jumped for a ball at the warning track unnecessarily and missed it.
  17. He pinch hit for Phillips against a lefty mainly.
  18. Arcia is just a really terrible hitter and with his approach, I'm not sure if he's going to get better.
  19. I'm going to be optimistic and say Braun strikes out or pops out instead of grounding into a double play.
  20. Jeffress was going half speed there for some reason.
  21. Vogt is like Perez, the more he plays the more he's exposed. .274 OBP with the Brewers.
  22. Rockies get the first two on and fail to score in the 7th.
