  1. How about for comments about the strike zone? 645.5? Does "that two-seamer tails back over the plate" count? Because Bill already hit 646 in the 1st inning if it does.
  2. O/U on discussions about the wind and/or wind direction is set at 64.5
  3. Wish we would see Williams for a few innings instead of our old, scrub relievers.
  4. I took away Thames' best month and then took away Carter's best month (conveniently also in April) and Carter still out-produced him. I guess what I'm saying is, what's the real Thames? The 103 plate appearances in April where he's Babe Ruth or the 1,000 over the rest of his career where he's below replacement level? Since he's 31, I doubt he's getting better than what he is now, so he's probably the replacement level or below guy.
  5. Still better than Thames. .217/.318/.486
  6. Is he though? April is the only thing keeping Thames from being worse than Carter last year. Carter - .222/.321/.499 Thames from May-now - .207/.316/.429
  7. First come, first serve. Limit of four. $3 processing fee. Tickets available tomorrow at 9 am. Tickets delivered digitally 6 hours before the game. http://m.mlb.com/brewers/tickets/offers/millercoors
  8. Because you have a bunch of AAAA players in AAA. Guys like Nieuwenhuis, Dillard, Blazek, De Jesus, Colabello and Noonan are on our AAA roster. It's like that all around the league. That raises the average age to like 27. Unless a prospect got hurt or something and lost development time, they should be in AAA by 23 and Dubon hit terribly this year.
  9. No power and doesn't walk and he's 23, which isn't particularly young. He's Perez without the power. He's going to need to hit .300 to post a passable OBP.
  10. Don't know but he's not a good hitter and I don't really understand why he's considered anything more than a utility guy.
  11. I like how you add what he's doing in Cincinnati. These were his numbers as a Brewer. .279/.318/.420. He went from a 127 OPS+ as a rookie to a 107 OPS+ his second year to an 84 OPS+ in his third before "rebounding" to a 92 OPS+ in his fourth. Villar's first four years were .261/.336/.405 while being able to play multiple positions. Not particularly well granted but decently enough to not embarrass himself.
  12. Can we get Taylor Williams to pitch one inning in a 4 run deficit? Nope, gotta be Torres.
  13. Of course not. That's the only reason I'm keeping this game on. You think Counsell will reward us for watching him manage like an idiot?
  14. Counsell has managed this game like a complete idiot.
  15. I don't know if Villar or Counsell is on crack with that two strike sac bunt but one of them is.
  16. When Santana stumbled around 3rd I thought for sure he was going to get thrown out.
  17. I'd much rather watch Taylor Williams than Oliver Drake, Carlos Torres or several other pitchers we have.
  18. It's like Counsell doesn't realize Eric Sogard turned back into Eric Sogard a while ago.
  19. There's an example of a strikeout being better than contact.
