adding cobb to a 2 or 3 year deal would be nice, but I get the sense that the brewers don't feel like it is necessary. Since Suter and Wiley have had a nice spring and they have Woodruff as a 6th SP, I am sure they feel comfortable taking their chances. If the brewers are in it in July, I am sure Mark will give up what it takes to get SP via trade. Therefore I won't lose sleep over Alex Cobb.

Yep that's the only explanation what else could it be? Just wondering. They have 6 starting caliber outfielders, granted half with options but still. -

I agree, I don't think there is no way the brewers sign Cain unless they think they could trade an Outfielder or 2 for a SP. Braun to 1st base isn't happening I think, so they really are in a pickle. -
Just finished seven seconds on Netflix, enjoyed it. Really enjoy Homeland and Shameless on Showtime, wait for the season to end and buy showtime for a month and binge. Tried to find a reason to keep showtime after shameless ended and couldn't. next ones on my list is collateral and dark on netflix I think.

Turned in my brackets for my work pool today, since it will be about 100 people in, I decided to not go with whom I think will make it, but instead teams that have a legit shot and that not everyone in the company will take. Final 4 Virginia, MSU, Texas Tech, Gonzaga Championship Gonzaga over Texas Tech (was tempted to take Tennessee over Virginia in the elite 8, but stuck with one #1 seed)

I agree, the packers know their window in small, to get a motivated wilkerson should be just what the doctor ordered. If the packers want to pay him next off season, they can worry about that next year.

while they got their TE, it would appear they have lost out on all of the top CB's: Johnson signing with Jets, Butler to Ten. I hoped that the Packers would be able to sign one once they traded Randall.

I guess I am OK with this. We all know they need a TE and they are much harder to get than WR. The Packers really had 2 choices: sign Graham or use a high draft pick on a TE and hope he turns out. I just hope the packers either use a day 1 or 2 draft pick on a WR or sign on of the lesser WR's that are available.

I can't remember the last time I saw the brewers use their ball and script logo, so this makes sense. Its a much cleaner / better one anyway. http://news.sportslogos.net/2018/03/07/milwaukee-brewers-change-their-primary-logo/ I would prefer that they get rid of the old logo and just make the ball and glove logo their primary alternative logo.

I guess I've been here for some time now. In fact, I'm betting two of Guerra/Suter/Miley/Gallardo are in the opening day rotation with Woodruff starting in the minors. I think this is nothing more than Stearns playing his cards close to the vest. There are 3 top FA pitchers who need jobs. In their early 30's they are not going to sit out a full season. Why would you scream to everyone that you are going to sign of these pitchers and increase their price. They may end up not signing one of them because the price remains high, but I think the odds are about 50/50 that they do.

I agree that next season will be huge for him.I understand that his first 2 seasons he had to clean up the mess from all of the players leaving when Buzz left and they made the tournament last season. You are correct that the team needs a true PG and some big guys.

I think Marquette needs to win out to make the tournament. That would put marquette 10-8 in conference. They have a huge test ahead of them on the road against Creighton and the rest of the games are winable (home games vs St Johns and Creighton will be tough, but they are home games atleast) It does concern me that in the game against St Johns, Marquette had 3 players combine for 70/78 points. This is no way to win a team game. I am wondering for the first time, how much longer the MU boasters and administration will put up with Wojo. I don't think his job is in jeopardy quite yet and I understand that if you fire Wojo, you will set your program back atleast 2 years, as the incoming freshman and others will ask to be released from their scholarship, but this season has been very frustrating.

it seems like there are a bunch of free agents that are not getting paid as they would like and are waiting it out, that is hardly collusion. Davish has received a few offers, but owners are not going nuts for a 31 year old starter, who didn't exactly light the world on fire. I recently had to find a new job and it became pretty clear how much i was worth. Yes I could have waiting it out for a dream offer, or as an adult with a family to support would do, took the best offer and hoped for the best.

i hope that yesterdays game disqualifies Prunty from getting the full time gig. The worst scenario would be that the bucks win enough to not consider other candidates, when i think this will be the best available job over the summer.

my 2 cents on the rumble, is that they got both matches correct. Unlike the past few years where their decision was baffling (orton, reigns, batista), they set up 2 wonderful WM matches. Didn't overthink it, both choices were obvious, the only other man i could see wining was Balor, but we saw that match before and his push has been stalled. I wish is was asuka vs Charlotte and not Bliss but I will take it. I thought Ronda looked very awkward doing the tradional Wrestlemania sign pointing. I am curious on how she will do in the ring (I think she will be good), but will be a mess on the mike.

Its the calm before the storm. The Rumble is the kickoff traditionally to all Wrestlemania storylines. I will agree with you, that it has been pretty weak of late, storyline wise.

I think there is a decent chance Santana is moved for pitching now. As i always say, talk to me when pitchers and catchers report and I will let you know how the offseason went. I know in the hot take nation that we live now, we need / give immediate feedback on every move, but this didn't happen in a vacuum.

my first take is that Harrison put this trade a little in the Marlins favor, but I am happy to have Yelich. For those that hate the move, at some point you need to turn in your lottery tickets. You have a borderline allstar now. Diaz struggled at high A and Brinson struggled once he got called up, not saying that they won't be good players, but when you have a chance to get a Yelich you do it.

I've honestly never even heard his name, and i'm fairly tuned in. Can't imagine what the general Bucks fan thinks of hearing he's the coach. If you have never heard of him, you are the general Bucks fan. I think Cassell would be an awesome coach, I'd like for the bucks to get someone with experience though. I think if its the top job in the league this offseason, you don't have to settle for a rookie coach.
