  1. Word is that the jets are willing to trade down from 3. According to the value chard 12 + 30 =1820 and 3 is 2200. You obviously would have to throw in more (4 is only 1800 so it would make more sense to trade up to 4). If bosa or Allen is around though it may be something to look at.
  2. Andy Isabella - wr umass
  3. Can’t say I listened much to the stations he was on, but from what I heard of him he seems to have a good voice for the job and eventually take over full time for Robb. Also has the same background as him. Seems like a good choice.
  4. I really don’t think 4 million a year is that huge, plus they are getting their name on 2 parks, probably will pay for yearly improvements, but not going to help us sign free agents of significance.
  5. This is great news! I was hoping insurance would be left off of the Milwaukee ballpark. This seems to indicate that it is.
  6. Besides the moose trade, has this guy broken anything?
  7. That’s a little dramatic he did sign a 4 yr /11 million dollar deal. I understand him wanting to play more but my point is that Lopez is only here this year. Who knows what could happen next.
  8. I do love Paul Hennings suggestion of maker / smith for dedmon. This is disappointing. The bucks really went out on a limb for him and yes he doesn’t play much now but Lopez is only on a 1 year deal and he gets to play on a winning team. I hope he gets dealt to a bad team like the hawks so he can get the pt he wants, Edit: just ran it through the trade machine and smith can’t be traded with another player. I would be ok with a carter for Thon trade and then let wood actually get some minutes instead of hanging out in Oshkosh.
  9. I believe that the brewers have been using revenue sharing money to rebuild maryvalle. Also mark a has been constantly paying off the debt he assumed when he bought the team. More likely that this money is out I to a fund for stadium upgrades rather than buying a 2 million dollar bench player. Which I have no problem with but the team should be honest about it instead of saying this is how small market teams compete.
  10. If it’s American Family Field, it could be worse. I think the issue is that this was just thrown at us and Miller Park is the gold standard for corporate sponsorship names.
  11. I don’t care that Miller isn’t the sponsor. The nice thing about Miller park and Bradley Center were they were corporate names that didn’t sound like one. Fiserv Forum is ok. American Family Field screams corporate sponsor. In general if the corporate name is more than one word, I’m not ok with it.
  12. I don’t like it. That’s being said an oc job where you won’t call the plays can’t be the most attractive job avaialavle. On record once Monken went to TB, I would have at least looked at John Defillipo.
  13. Yeah it’s not good so far, minus the right decision to retain Pettine, and fire Zook, but you have to wait for him to announce his full staff and then you can judge.
  14. Todd Monken is the OC I’m cleveland. I would have liked him here. I hope Hackett is not the choice. My preference now (not sure he is a candidate though) is Difillipo.
  15. love this, but if they have to give up a pick it sours it. I’d assume DS wouldn’t surrender a pick for a one year deal though.
  16. The reliever had good numbers in triple a and is current #28 on the Mets mlb pipeline. Also gets it up there in the high 90’s. I’m ok with the trade, even though the return isn’t much, as it was clear he was nothing more than the 5th of. Question is if they carry 5, who is now the 5th. Probably this is why you have guys like Perez and spanenberg.
  17. I hope it’s not, I would hope that the packers would let the new coach pick his coordinators. Also with regards to Gase, there is no perfect candidate imo, when I say home run, I mean ones that I find acceptable. Any coach that they hire out of this crop has flaws and you are taking a risk. Gase is a bright offensive mind who was in a bad situation with a bad quarterback. I’d like to see what he can do with a good quarterback. Lafluer fits that mold too, but I understand he is young and has little coaching experience and it’s not like the titans were an offensive machine this year.
  18. I’d consider Lafluer or Gase a home run and McDaniels a passing grade at this point. Everyone else that they are bring in gets a “meh” from me
  19. Fs Wisconsin showed the football playoffs, maybe they will pick up some of the slack.
  20. They started a 24 hour news channel, and therefore got out of the sports business. Not sure how Krause will be affiliated with spectrum if at all.
  21. https://czabe.com/the-post/new-year-new-opportunities/ Sheds more light on what happened. Said on his podcast today that he may have to move to Milwaukee if this opportunity takes off.
  22. Spansenberg > sogard. That much I know
  23. Hopefully this is just a depth move for San Antonio and not part of the answer at 2nd.
  24. Pretty sure Czaban hinted at a show with drew in the coming months on the podcast this am.
  25. Really? Easy there. I’m sure he can return to the organization after he hangs it up. He is closer to home, and there was less need for him to mop up in blowouts. It’s a good move for him personally.
