  1. Williams should get something back similar to Burnes, I agree your proposal is more realistic. How about Ceddanne Rafaela and Sandlin or Meidroth?
  2. Not sure Boston says Yes, but Marcelo Mayer for Devin Williams Brewers can keep their IF as is then and replace Willy with Marcello.
  3. I only knew because they changed the name of their Facebook account
  4. At lesser one other team will make a run at him. I agree on berry @markedman5, baserunning has been great.
  5. Obviously retaining hook is a priority. I could see changes in the staff for Murphy to bring in his guys.
  6. Looks like Ballys has been renamed as "Fan Duel Sports Network Wisconsin"
  7. Packer fans have been spoiled again with Jacke, Longwell and Crosby for most of the last 30 years. McManus isn’t the greatest choice and is 33 but he is better than they have had since Crosby left. I agree it hard, but the Vikings drafted a guy who hasn’t missed yet and the lions got a guy from the ufl that hasn’t either. If McManus performs well, I’m sure they will try to sign him to a shortish term deal, to stabilize a position that has been in flux the last 2 years
  8. Glad they brought in a team. An added bonus was that he has experience in kicking I’m the elements with Narverson didn’t The Vikings and Lions have young kickers with no misses to date. Packers had to do something
  9. YES! its glaring this year with the real possibility that 3 of the final 4 teams will have 300 million dollar payrolls if the dodgers don't choke tonight. Fans don't want a chance to make the playoffs once in a while by expanding the # of teams, but rather a real chance to win it all.
  10. I personally its 50% WC getting hot at the end of the year (playing to get in, while the #1 and #2 seeds are resting / setting pitching rotation at the end of the year) and 50% the layoff. If MLB wants to expand it to 8 so teams get a layoff, I'm fine with that. If MLB wants to go back to 4. I'm fine with that. The only thing that I'm not OK with is the 2012-2021 rules of a 1 game WC. Also as I said in my 1st paragraph, I don't necessarily think the playoffs need fixing., but I do agree watching WC teams rather than the top seeds in the WS weakens the event.
  11. If it ends up being via a brewers cable channel that is going to be quite the undertaking with basically 5 months until spring training games start. OTA will be hard because the brewers would have to sell it to every market in the state and find a home for 150 games in a short time frame. I think the most likely scenario is a brewers.tv app.
  12. I think the most likely scenario is nothing changes too much. As I just posted, I would hope like youtube.tv and sling gets a chance to show the games. I think there is a possibility that WMLW, CW, UPN would get a chance to show the games, but then again markets outside of Milwaukee would have to figure it out.
  13. hopefully this means larger distributorship on cable / streaming options.
  14. the great thing about the air bender is that it looks like a fast ball coming out of his hand, and the hitter doesn't realize it until its too late. If there is a tell (no matter how small), its a big advantage to the hitter. Yes he wasn't locating his pitches last night, which had nothing to do with Alonso's homer, I'll give you that.
  15. It was reported Mears was tipping his pitches before he got traded. If a professional hitter only has to focus on the angle of the glove and knows if the air bender is coming or not, its a big help. Also I don't think many pitchers do tip them. Look at how dominant he was on Wednesday vs being very average on Thursday. I think a strong case can be made that something was seen on video after game 2.
  16. Interesting case, Seems like the Mets saw something on video Wednesday night incase he pitched Thursday. https://www.facebook.com/reel/3816582005223277
  17. i agree. This also makes tons of sense for MLB and I think it will improve the brewers TV revenue.
  18. for post game 97.3 is the gold standard around here. I like 1250's coverage but its very limited because its only local 2-5. I try to listen to 620 for pre/post, its very bland and boring to me. 920 is all national, so I don't think you will find any local coverage.
  19. initial online reaction is that this would have an affect on how much $ is spent this offseason. I don't think so much for Milwaukee as they have by far the worst contract in MLB. For the life of me, I don't know for how much $$ MLB makes this year, how is this is a lingering problem. We knew about this for more than a year and Manfred has done nothing to preempt this.
  20. its too bad it didn't happen after a win and instead 2 1/2 hrs before 1st pitch. That being said this one is very special with everything that has happened the last 300 days to this team
  21. No surprise
  22. Did Welch sign anywhere? I assumed he wanted an opportunity elsewhere but not seeing anything online about where he is right now. Not surprised on Wilson, they have a TE on there already.
  23. He was overly patient with Carlson last year. The excessive missed extra points and short field goals is frustrating. If Narveson is automatic inside 40 and decent past 40, I’m happy.
  24. Glad King made it,, had some potential. No surprise on Joseph, if they need a vet, he is just a phone call away.
  25. To be fair its 20 yards in college and in the NFL its 33. Yes pro kickers should make 33 yarders without issue, I give you.
