  1. i really like the new big east conference. My only complaint is that instead of adding Dayton in 2014-15, i'd look at VCU.I think the conference instantly becomes atleast the 2nd best in the nation behind the big 10. I'm glad that it looks like they aren't looking at detroit mercy like what was reported a few weeks ago.
  2. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/9028021/big-east-eyes-america-12-new-conference-name-football-schools-sources-say looks like the old big east really wants to me conference USA #2, since they are going with America 12. Marquette and the other 6 schools really got a good deal by keeping the big east.
  3. anyone else having trouble with the audio? brewers.com said that the padres game has exclusive free audio but I am still being asked to log in.
  4. after rethinking this move, although i didn't like it much yesterday i have warmed up. Harris has not shown that much yet minus a dominating summer league performance. I know he is only 20 and can improve, but he is just a prospect right now. I think Lamb is a player that can easily be replaced in next years draft. They may turn out to be decent players and will probably improve, but I don't think either of them will be at the elite / all star level. My knock on the harris pick when they did it was that the bucks had a bunch of similar players and I wanted Marshon Brooks instead. I think if they can get Redick signed and Jennings matched, their back court will be improved with ellis leaving. They have a bunch of 4-5 types that can be switched around, which is why Harris never got off the bench this season. does anyone have any idea or have heard predictions on what type of money Redick could command this offseason. They obviously need to take care of Larry Sanders, and just threw alot of cash at Ersan. If they sign Redick and Jennings this season, I feel like the majority of their payroll will be locked up.
  5. well they did win the trade deadline battle, so hammond has that.
  6. i hate this move. they basically got a shorter mike dunleavy jr. they gave up 2 players with promise who never got a shot to play to rent redick.
  7. i'm for smith for ellis. i think it makes the team better this season and neither player would resign here anyway. I am also for a reasonable Jennings trade if they take Gooden with him. I agree On Reddick, if they want to increase their shot of making the playoffs and acquire Reddick, thats fine. I just don't like giving up a 1 or Mbah Moute.
  8. i'm against giving up picks at all. i know the draft is a little on the weak side, but the bucks need to grow by using the draft since stars aren't coming here in free agency. i think if the bucks get Reddick and Smith, they may become a 6 seed, so what. If that is all the possibilities we have, i'd rather see them let ellis walk and match whatever Jennings gets.
  9. I don't understand giving up picks for Josh Smith or JJ Reddick. They are free agents and I definitely don't think Smith would resign. Not sure about Reddick.
  10. this is bad news. i'm sure Alex Gonzalez will get a look now, but this means the brewers no longer have depth at SS. They could give Hunter Morris a look but I'm not sure that he is ready yet.
  11. last year i logged in right before 9am and stayed there for over an hour and only was able to buy single obstructed. hopefully you have better luck this year than me.
  12. let me know what you thought, i have become a big fan after listening only last week. It was lough to leave Rome since i have been a fan for 15 years, but Jay Mohr has got rid of alot of stuff that I didn't like when he first started.
  13. i won too, i won last year too, but sat in the waiting room forever and got shut out. i have my opening day ticket secured and will try to win for friends to go as well, but we shall see.

  15. my predictions in order of confidence 1) rock beats punk 2) cena, shamus, ryback beats the shield 3) mark henry wins elimantion chamber 4) ADR beats the show 5) cesaro beats the miz 6) kaitlyn beats snuka 7) clay/ albert beats rhodes scholars so basically brewcrewforever i don't disagree with you at all.
  16. so i have noticed that since Rome started at CBS radio, his show has changed. It is much more bland and more like "typical sportstalk". I know this isn't the most exciting time of the year in sports but I was always bored by the end of the 1st hour and turned the show off. I decided to give Mohr a second change since he is now on over the air. The show is pretty good. I think his first few shows were too high on impressions and schtick. Now the show is pretty similar to what Jim Rome used to do for Premiere. Looks like i have changed from a clone to a mohrarrior after listening to Rome religiously since 1997 when he came to Milwaukee on 1510am.
  17. i believe the deadline has passed to amnesty Gooden. I wouldn't be opposed to the bucks trading Jennings if Gooden goes along and the bucks get some picks / prospects back. I understand that star FA's aren't coming here, you can still get solid players in free agency though and they can't screw up any more draft picks.
  18. I don't see the bucks trading Jennings before the 21st. This happens every season, players that are going into restricted free agency trying to force a trade because they team they play for can match any offer. Unless its a max deal, the bucks are matching, so i don't see the point. I still thing Ellis could go. I'd love for them to trade Dalenbert as well. I know Ersan's name is floating around but i don't see the point in trading him after just extending him.
  19. i know there are some fellow musicheads on this board so i thought it would be fun to get our predictions in before the show on Sunday. The Grammys are the only award show i watch every year. here is what i am predicting for the major ones. winners in bold: 1) Record of the year: (probably the toughest category) Lonely Boy - The Black Keys Stronger - Kelly Clarkson We are Young - Fun Somebody that I used to Know - Goyte Thinking bout you - Frank Ocean We are never ever getting back together - Taylor Swift 2) Album of the year: (my most confident category) El Camino - The Black Keys Some Nights - Fun. Babel - Mumford and Sons Channel Orange - Frank Ocean Blunderbuss - Jack White 3) Song of the Year The A Team - Ed Sherman Adorn Miguel Premento Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepson Stronger - Kelly Clarkson We are Young - Jack Antonoff et al 4) Best New Artist Alabama Shakes Fun Hunter Hayes The Lumineers Frank Ocean Best New artist is a very strong category. All 5 have staying power which is not always the case for this category.
  20. i switched everything over to AT&T U-verse. Sadly i am only saving 10 dollars a month and will be paying more once the promotional period is over.
  21. the FDLS era ends before it even began, was claimed off of waivers by the Padres today. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/02/padres-claim-fautino-de-los-santos.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook i assume it was to clear a waiver spot for Gonzo.
  22. didn't we get him from the cubs? anyway he did nothing for me last year to convince me he is worth keeping around. I like the idea of having a veteran around that has some pop to come off of the bench or fill in for segura if he struggles rather than keep a 26 year old that has bounced around the last few years. most teams don't have a decent IF prospect on their bench as they are playing fulltime in triple A instead of sitting on the bench in the bigs.
  23. the wwe is reporting that McMahon has a broken hip and will need surgery. not sure if this is legit or not. definitely sets up triple H's return to TV and a match with Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
