  1. these days do very well jerseywise and they are running out of nationalities (i think german is the only one of the sausages that hasn't had its day yet). we don't know if aoki will be back in 2015 so why not.
  2. i know its a free shirt, but the designs are very generic. compare that to the shirts the bucks are handing out during the next 4 Wednesday games, which are unique
  3. brewers are having a another aoki bobblehead and having a Japanese heritage day.
  4. yeah bud is a good call, the first one is a gogo gold glove bobblehead on 4/27. not surprising
  5. well the umbrellas were never all fans anyway since miller always sponsored them. they could give them out upon leaving to ease safety concerns
  6. jeez, i don't understand when you have a 25 man roster how you can continue to have 10 bobble head dates. unless the brewers want to finally honor the brewers of the 1990's, i can't figure out how they will do this for a 2nd straight season and not have many repeats. the only players worthy of a bobble head that hasn't had one yet are segura, lohse, and henderson. they will definitely have a gomez gold glove one which will be very cool and a sausage one. i don't know where else they go with the other 5
  7. i hope they get more creative than tshirts and bobble heads. one of the coolest promotions they gave the last few seasons was the grill set they gave during the final home stand. i miss the days of umbrellas, seat cushions, etc
  8. will start unveiling them next week. they didn't specify bobblehead, maybe my cries to stop doing nothing but bobbleheads will be realized http://brewers.mlblogs.com/2013/11/01/brewers14in14-all-fan-giveaways-reveal-set-for-november-4-8/
  9. i watched the 1st half and 4th quarter last night. i think this team has some potentional but they made way too many mistakes. Wolters looked good in the 2nd half. The freak is more raw that even I thought he was. I think this team will be fun to watch, just very frustrating. they showed the ability to really up their defense when falling behind instead of in past years when all they really could do is start reining down 3's to try to catch up.
  10. i agree sad day, my favorite from him is still http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vgwp-iQenn4
  11. Even with Wilson's injury Johnson and Burton will be very interesting to see what they can do their freshman year. James, McNeal, and Matthews class was able to contribute right away, not sure how buzz will use these 2 at first. I know he was a juco transfer but loosing McKay really hurts, marquette was OK size wise this season with Otule and Gardner, but they are gone next season and they really don't have front court players to replace him.
  12. I think it is safe to say the new big east is pretty weak this season. Marquette is the only team ranked. I only see 2 nba picks this season (McDermott and Christon if he comes out). It will be a good league, but i don't think it will be as good the first year as was thought when this came together earlier this year. Still a better option than staying in the AAC. If Wilson can be back for conference play i think they will be OK, i am really looking forward to seeing the other Wilson get to start at the point this season. i agree that depth / size is going to be an issue this season though.
  13. 2 weeks until the season tips off. Tonight is the Big East Kickoff Special on Fox Sports 1, so I figured we should get this started. By the way, saw Vander Blue was released from the sixers last night, it was too bad he came out early, Marquette is the preseason favorite and ranked 17th in the preseason without him, only could imagine where they could be with him.
  14. Hell in the Cell is Sunday!. looking forward to watching it and the packers game at the same time. besides the orton - bryan match this ppv is pretty much oh hum. predictions: los matadores over the real americans rhodes boys retain against the shield / usos brie bella over aj lee cena over ADR (sandow cashes in and wins) heyman / ryback over punk bryan over orton (vinny mac somehow gets invovled)
  15. Bryan Price has been named manager. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9861173/reports-cincinnati-reds-promote-pitching-coach-bryan-price-manager looking at the reds fan message boards, they seem to not be surprised and more relieved it wasn't Riggleman. I don't think it was a bad hiring, but it shows how few decent managerial candidates there are. There really isn't that hot free agent or young manager that everyone is trying to get. Seems to be that way the last few off seasons.
  16. we still got our sweet deal, we get 2 full season IF loge for buy 1 get 1 free, works great if you can split it up with enough guys. 20 dollars a ticket is a great deal.
  17. it seems like more of my favorite bands have released new albums this year, some have been good some disappointing. today the avett brother and the head and the heart come out. already on my ipod, last week was amos lee. kind of amazing to think that in 2013: mayer hawthorne edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros portugal the man the civil wars polyphonic spree tedeschi trucks band charles bradley fitz and the tantrums all released in 2013. going to make my top 10 list hard.
  18. thursday nighs are just not the same, especially since the league and its always sunny moved to wednesdays, i'm down to big bang theory and parks and rec.
  19. no way that vince didn't rehire big show to take on triple h at the new ppv.
  20. pretty stale ppv all around, was not surprised big show got involved in the wwe championship match, but was surprised he screwed orton too. sets up the storyline very well and makes raw a must see tomorrow.
  21. i hope so too, but i see this team as a 7th / 8th seed. I don't understand much of what they did this offseason, besides the Jennings trade. They did what the bucks always do, brought in a bunch of above average veterans. Guarantees them a playoff spot especially this season when teams are tripping over themselves to see who can tank more.
  22. may go to a bar to watch this PPV, can't justify paying 60 bucks to watch it predictions: orton over bryan punk over ryback RVD over ADR, sandow cashes in team rhodes over the shield AJ lee over brie bella Axel over R-Truth
  23. yeah that was obvious. they better have something in store of battleground. I am not a fan of having the same main event 3 straight PPV's.
  24. shocked that ortons championship run was so short, raw will be interesting tomorrow night.
  25. i want to see lucroy at 1st next season, Maldonado has proven he is a good defensive catcher and an average 8th batter. Lucroy has never been a great defensive catcher. I wish Davis could play 1st but i think he has proven that he cannot. I think he is trade fodder since i can't see the brewers moving braun to right and benching aoki to put Davis at left everyday
