  1. its been a while since i have been this excited to see a bucks team play. they won't be that good, but they have no egos. i am looking foward to see henson and sanders continue to grow as well as to see brandon knight play. they bucks have had a bunch of guys of late that didn't want to be here, i think they finally have a team that wants to be in Milwaukee, which is huge.
  2. looks like ryback is now with Heyman. love it since ryback has been without much of a purpose for atleast a year.
  3. love it. the way the NBA is these days the only way the bucks will ever succeed is to draft players like Larry, Hensen, Giannis (large upside), have them work out, and extend them. The reason why the bogut - ellis trade was dumb and short-sighted, is that they traded a player (while often injured) who was good when healthy and liked it here. While the jury is out on Knight, obviously he is not going to pull Jenning's crap while here. Milwaukee is not for everyone. When they trade for players like Ellis who never wanted to be here, it affects the whole team's chemistry. One of the reasons they have been bad so far is that chemistry on this team has been awful. While the 13-14 may not be great, i am confident that they will be fun to watch and have good chemistry. Giving the Ellis money to Larry was a great move.
  4. dirty work is probably my favorite "cult comedy". im glad some others feel the same
  5. Summerslam is shaping up to be a pretty good PPV. WWE has actually taken the time to build up story lines instead of just putting together the PPV at the last minute like normal.
  6. not sure how it helps the brewers. one more trade partner down added with downs getting traded. the astros got a top prospect too. As relievers fall off of the market it may be harder to get value market value as there are fewer and fewer trade partners.
  7. i wasn't planning on going to any game that i already didn't have tickets for. this would cause more to go to more games i think. especially if tickets are still going to be dirt cheap on stubhub.
  8. i'd guess Davis, but haven't heard anything
  9. i feel like i should care more, but i don't. This may ruin his legacy but if he puts up numbers for the next 7-10 years and stays clean, this won't matter. This is different that McGwire, Sosa, or Bonds. In the short term not having a suspension going into next season is huge. Hopefully this allows Melvin to go into full rebuild mode and trades whoever they can for prospects.
  10. wasn't that done before the draft?
  11. i think in general if the bucks are going to get a good FA they need to pay more and longer than say the lakers.
  12. Kendall Marshall is apparently on the trade block for the suns. I liked him coming out of North Carolina. If they aren't going to bring back Jennings, I'd like them to get a young PG to see what he can do.
  13. yeah best RAW in a while, Summerslam is looking to be a solid show. It was odd that they chose R-truth to have beaten down by Bray as he has been off TV for so long I almost forgot about him.
  14. at this point i think i am OK with not getting a PG or signing Harris to a 1 or 2 year deal. Ridnour is solid and they bucks are still going to struggle next year if they sign Jennings or not. I'd rather save the money to pay Larry Sanders. I am sure the bucks are going to panic though and give Jennings 12 million a year to save face.
  15. awesome start to money in the bank. the smackdown briefcase was awesome. also it marks the end of the team rhodes scholars.
  16. from what i saw the Hawks have until 1158 tonight to match, should be interesting at this point it would be really hard to bring back Jennings if the Hawks match and Ridnour and Wolteres. Looks like Harris may be available with the Mavericks looks like they wont sign him. May be a backup option minus using them to move up in the 2nd to get a player they like who has fallen (like they did this year) or drafting European players and stashing them not sure what they are going to do with all of these
  17. i think the brewers are setting up to trade some assets on the major league level. bringing in vet minor league FA's would allow them to rebuild the farm system and let guys like owings finish the season up here.
  18. i think it would be hard to argue that Jennings isn't a better player than Teague and is 2 years younger. Also the bucks have lost ALOT of scoring this offseason and would loose another one in this scenario. That being said I think the bucks would be a better team to have Teague. He is a better distributor of the ball and isn't as inconsistent.
  19. was very excited to see the debut of the Wyatt family but i was less than impressed. It seems like this group will be just like the straight edge society and nexus. It seems like every summer we get a group that gangs up on people with a strong leader and this will be the same. I am also sure Vinny Mac was livid over the husky harris chants. on a side note firing Vicky for Maddux looks like it will be a repeat of old story lines too, we know RAW is going to get out of control because of the incomponent GM and Vince is going to rehire Vicky. Just wish the GM position would go away
  20. i give him some rope because NBA players do not want to come here. any free agent the bucks sign they have to overpay for and it still may not be enough.
  21. the probably paid 1-2 million more a year to get him to milwaukee but i am happy that its only 3 years. maybe a little undersized as a 2 and he is a little streaky but he is only 25. overall a solid signing. wonder how much todd had to do with him coming here?
  22. love it, hopefully he is put right in the rotation. just too bad that his first start probably won't be in Milwaukee.
  23. latest from Chad ford is that the bucks are looking at Larkin, Schroeder or Glen Rice Jr, with Rice getting a 2nd workout today. if those are the 3, i want Schroeder.
  24. i like the bucks but i'd trade them for a hockey team in a second, the stanely cup playoffs are so much more exciting that the nba finals and a milwaukee NHL team would have a better chance to complete than in the NBA where a few chosen markets get all of the free agents.
