  1. i like the idea of bringing in Larry Drew as the new head coach, the hawks have been good the last few years without a star. Still wish they would bring in Mike Budenholzer, anyone that has been the lead assistant for Pop for that many years has to be considered qualified to coach in this league.
  2. i really enjoyed the finale too, was glad that michael scott did appear. loved one final thats what she said line. looking forward to rewatching it tonight.
  3. in the take it for what its worth category http://screenrant.com/the-office-series-finale-michael-scott/
  4. if he does, it is unknown to all, from what i read kelly and ryan are the own cast members scheduled to reappear, with a bunch of guest stars making their first appearance on the show.
  5. yeah, while this season as been very week, i really liked the last 2 episodes. i enjoyed the jim/pam retrospective as well BCF. just wanted to let you know that there is an hr look back before the show on thursday that should be just as good as the finale i think.
  6. i would hope the bucks look at mike malone or brian shaw. I think Sampson would be an excellent choice as well. Kohl has tried to hire new coached and retreads, offensive and defensive coaches, and really the only successful coach he has had is karl. I think bringing in someone like malone would be an excellent choice.
  7. finally, the bucks have had this feature for years. about time that the brewers incorporated it. between the service fees and not getting to pick you seats, there is no point to buying tickets online unless you don't live in Milwaukee of course.
  8. i believe that you can only criticize a pick when you questioned it WHEN it happened. i though the brewers should have taken Bailey over Rogers but i can't argue too much which the picks that were made.
  9. want to get my predictions in for tomorrow: cena vs the rock - cena ADR vs Swagger - Del Rio Taker vs Punk - Undertaker Team WWE vs the shield - the shield ryback vs henry - tough one but ryback team hell no vs ziggler/langston - ziggler/langston lesnar vs triple h - lesnar jericho vs fandango - fandago tons of fun vs rhodes scholars - tons of fun
  10. romines for sure but get there early. i tried to watch it there 2 years ago and got there about 10 minutes before showtime and they were at capacity.
  11. if rogers could gain some velocity, i'd love to see him get a try once he is back. I guess i'd go with Henderson in the short term, but he didn't have a great spring and there is nobody else on the roster i trust.
  12. there is a lot of losers mentality on this board. is their risk, YES. I think the largest reason for to pessimistic, is that Melvin has tried signings like this twice and 1 failed and 1 fizzled out in the end, along with giving up the pick. This pick shows that the brewers are going for it still in 2013. As a brewer fan I like that. If the most optimistic fan on this would have thought that it would be hard to get pass the cards and reds with peralta, fiers, and narveson in the rotation with thornburg and rogers as backup plans.
  13. I really don't care about the draft pick either. There is a large difference between an NFL or NBA draft pick and an MLB draft pick. While the brewers did have a stretch of getting franchise players with their first round pick, recently they haven't done much with them. There is just as good of a chance of the brewers getting a player of equal ability in the 2nd as in the 1st.
  14. i haven't been through eveyones posts, but I'll throw in my 2 cents. For those complaining about a draft pick. The brewers haven't really had great success with top draft picks of late, and there is no guarantee. Once could complain the brewers threw away the future to get Greinke, because they have away tangible players with actual big league track records. If the brewers don't get back into the playoffs while Braun and Yo are on the team, is there much use in "building for the future". Most brewer fans hated when the brewers kept on saying that during the dean taylor era. While I find giving 3 years to a 34 year old pitcher with average career stats and 2 good season questionable, I think the move makes the brewers a playoff contender again for 2013, I didn't think that when i got up this morning.
  15. i love the cream color. it has significance to the history of the city. I'm not a huge fan of the lettering, but everything else about the uniform i like. I'd still take them over what they wear now on a full time basis
  16. i think there should be a happy medium between scheduling alabama and autin peay. the point is still to get through the season with 0 or 1 losses or your SOS won't matter. The recent home and home with Oregon State is a good example. they come from a good conference and are a decent team that you have a chance to still beat. the landscape of the 2 teams could change in the next 2 seasons but right now I'd say the same fate awaits Wisconsin that did Michigan last season in the opener. I really didn't help Michigan's season this year.
  17. read an interesting article last night that suggesting taking a teams average margin of victory multiplied by the conference RPI so determine who wins any matchup. If this is done, the final 4 would be Indiana, Gonzaga, Florida, and Louisville, with Indiana beating Gonzaga in the championship. I also decided I was going to do a modified coin flip bracket. For example in a 5-12 matchup, if heads came up 6 times before tails came up 13, the 5 seed advanced. I got a final 4 of Georgetown, Indiana, Gonzaga, and Louisville, with Indiana beating Gonzaga again. looks like I have to take Indiana over Gonzaga.
  18. wondering what others thing the marquette lost did to their seeding. I don't think too much. They did lose to a ranked team. I still think they will be a 4 or 5 and will be put in the same bracket as Indiana.
  19. love the move, just hope its doesn't have bill hall like results. Gomez only proved himself for 1 season, which is why he was relatively inexpensive.
  20. they have 4 hours, i understand and hope that they will give 2 hours to cena-rock, taker-punk, and triple h-lesnar. its also obvious that the shield will face the show and 2 other guys. I also believe that ziggler will cash in and win the heavyweight title. i just wish they gave some build up the undercard. this year has the potential to be the best wrestlemania ever, i just hope they follow through.
  21. if his family supported it, then i really don't have a problem with it. It does make the feud more meaningful than just respect vs the streak. the problem with the fued is that the undertaker won't take a bump until wrestlemania, which probably means Kane will continue fighting his battles until WM29
  22. was very disappointed with RAW last night. Seemed like they were too busy showing movie trailers than actually gaining any momentum towards Wrestlemania. I also thought it was odd on how they used Paul Bearer's death to put more heat on Punk.
  23. i think eventually the pac10, big 10, sec, and acc will be 16. while this would assist in creating a playoff, the issue I have with it, is that school location no longer means anything. I'd like to see a west coast, midwest, south and east coast school competing, but that has long gone away. EDIT: i meant automatic invites for those 4 conferences and 4 atlarge bids for schools not winning the league title and atlarge teams
  24. UConn and Cincy would leave today if they could for the ACC. I don't see the ACC getting any larger though soon and there isn't any good plan B's for them. I think if you get the SPEED channel now, you should be fine for the FOX1 network. I am not sure if I get it or if I have to buy AT&T's sports package.
  25. http://ajerseyguy.com/?p=5580 i find this rich, 3 schools with no football pedigree complaining about their compensation for a league that they haven't even played a game in. In addition no other conference is really asking for them other than the Mountain West, who is still offering them less than the old big east. really glad that Marquette will no longer have to deal with football issues. I still don't understand why this is holding things up. everything has been agreed to, let the 7 schools leave and figure out how to distribute your 100 million dollars.
