the ice man is the beer vendor who usually works the field bleachers area. He is very much into his job and the drinkers in that area love him. He tells his customers that need to wear gloves to drink his beer and such and constantly jokes with the people in his area. Thats why I don't know if its really works in the brewer fan part.
not exactly a brewer fan like the maniac but you got to give it up for the ice man! as for freeway, he is in the bucks fan hall of fame, but i have seen him at miller park twice. Baseball really isn't what he is none for although he is a big fan of rickie weeks. also don't know his name but the trumpeter for the buckethead brigade who still brings his trumpet to the stadium.
if you have the mp3, you can create it. I set up a free account at www.mobile17.com and uploaded the mp3 and it converts it to a ringtone and sends it to you as a picture message.
i agree with you that the bucks may try to take the cheap way out of the draft. I think Blair will be more like an Anthony Mason and less like Tractor Traylor. I think he could help us around 10. I don't think James will be drafted but really like Matthers and McNeals game. I just think McNeals defense could help us off the bench and he'd be a good 2nd round pick.
good move, the way Riske has been pitching this spring, i was thinking there may be something wrong. While Swindle is not versatile, he was be good at getting tough lefties out. He seems to be off to a good start in AAA.
here's what would be a good offseason for me draft: assuming they draft at 10 - dejuan blair. With CV being a restricted FA the bucks really have no options at the 4 position. I don't see alexander being able to play the 4 at a high level and the only other option they have is allen. Blair would give us an inside presence coupled with Bogut. in the 2nd round I'd take McNeal. I know he is undersized but he has always been a defensively gifted player and with the 3 point shot added to his game I think he would be a decent backup for Redd free agency let CV go and match the offer for Sessions. I know Skiles is a big Ridnour fan but Sessions development has been one of the lone bright spots for the season. As other has said this team is a decent one but had terrible luck. Doing what I suggested will improve the teams defense which has become clear does not have the talent to play like Skiles would like.
didn't hear the interview but i wouldn't be concerned about him being a big city guy. He gave up free agency years and seems to like it here. He's here till 2015 at the earliest so lets enjoy it.
guys its so early. They are not playing what I have expected them to, but they should be 5-2 and not 2-5. Its not like they are getting out classed every night like we did in the mid to late 90's.
found this beer yesterday and got it for the game. Horny Goat Brewing Company. Their slogan is "Keep the HEX alive.... beat Chicago". So far it worked. Has anyone else tried it. http://www.hornygoatbrewing.com
i like the lineup. Hart needs to get his act together and there is alot more pressure in the 2 hole than the 7. Counsell will always atleast give the brewers a quality at bat. I would rather have Hardy in the 2 spot but lets see what happens.
does anyone know why duffy is not in the game, i believe he is in the mlbpa. There are rosters in the roster vault with him on but the official online roster does not have him.
i took Friday off to watch the game at my buddies house, with it being Good Friday, some rituals will have to be put off till later, but I still will be enjoying some cold ones with some good friends.
i agree with jwill they have you by the tail on this one. You really have no choice (unless you can find a new job by apr 15) but to come back. The only positive thing i can come up with is that you will be getting more money working at your lower salary than unemployment. I really don't think you can go and try to negotiate with them because if you turn down work you will not get unemployment.
hawing i made one last season but most of the players are no longer on the team, it was a tailgating staple last season. Also does anyone have a mp3 of brewer fever i had it on my old computer and lost it. I have been looking for it for a while and cannot find it.
all right so while giving up wrestling since i was 17 i have been watching raw the last couple weeks and i must admit wriestlemania seems to be compelling. I wouldn't pay 55 dollars but if i knew a bar to go watch it in town i'd would (does bw3's still show pay paer views). I think the undertaker vs shawn michaels and triple H against randy orten should be entertaining to watch.
i know they are still major league ball players but it looks like they hardly played their regulars. I remember a few years back the brewers lost to a minor league team (snappers?) and i was embarrassed too. This is much much worse. I still don't understand why the pirates schedule this game.
yeah i have been wanting that since they got rid of it in '94. I understand the reasons why Brewers is on the road uniforms, but I don't really think having Milwaukee on the road uniforms alienates anyone outside of SE Wisconsin.
