yeah my ps3 collects dust too GAME. The only game I have is the show and while I love it, I don't have the time to play it as much as I did while in college. I am not even sure if I am picking up Madden.
-
completely missed the boat on that one. guess i need to check the off-topic section more often.

I'd check into ebay, usually you can get decent seats for a reasonable price. Really your only other option is to wait and see if more seats get released closer to the game. Sometimes seats not used by the visiting team get released back into the system, but those are usually field level seats so they would be expensive as well.

I know I'm a week and a half late on this one, but i finally just heard about it yesterday. Its a musical released online by Neil Patrick Harris that was free online until the 19th and is now available on itunes for 4 dollars. He created it during the writers strike because he had nothing else to do. Just wondering if other BF.netters are on to this, if not you should atleast find a clip on youtube.

i'm guessing we don't make a trade but for the fun of it Ill go with Arthur Rhodes for Cole Gillespie and Luis Pena. EDIT: changed my mind this morning. -
you are good for this season of sport games but i don't think we will know anything for next seasons games. I am surprised that playstation has supported the ps2 this long.
-
thanks man. i went with Hanley Ramirez and the Rays. Definitely going with Braun and the brewers tomorrow though...
-
i signed up today, its something i have seen before but never took the time to do it.
-
he'd be a good addition for sept 1st, considering the high level outfielders we have available to us for roster expansion.

I don't see this as having any different effect than having the #5 starter and long man rotate after every bad outing or two like so many managers do when searching for that effective 5th starter. I think the problem is that you now basically have a 24 man team. For Bush to be ready to start on Saturday he really can only pitch tonight and maybe an inning on Wednesday which is the day he'd normally throw off the mound. If one of the 2 were a true long reliever you would be able to use him more often.

1250 went off of the stories by jsonline. I think its for Tauchner and its even more believable since he didn't play today. 1250 does seem to over excite us with internet rumors (brewers got dunn last season). Haudricourt atleast seems to get some confirmation before running with a story so i am pretty confident something is going to happen before the game tomorrow.

SF, i was thinking the same thing when i saw the trade, while milwaukee may not be like playing in Chicago, LA, or New York, I'd rather be here than in Portland, OKC, Salt Lake City, or Sacramento

atleast nba players like milwaukee when we pay them a million more than anyone else. this quote is from Gilbert Arenas regarding the Jefferson trade "HAHAHA. Oh, man, now that is funny. When I heard that, I started laughing. Oh man, did I start laughing. You know why? Because every player hates Milwaukee. Nobody wants to live in Milwaukee. I'm sorry, Milwaukee, to come down hard on you, but no one in the NBA wants to play in Milwaukee. From him going from New Jersey (actually New York, because he lives in New York), from New York to Milwaukee is like going ... let's just say it's not going to sit well with you. That was a funny one when I heard that one. I know Yi is happy though."

7/18/08 Brewers (Sabathia) at Giants (Cain): 9:15 CDT
patrickgpe replied to wibadgers23's topic in Archived Game Threads
so happy baseball is back tonight. I plan on getting to a bar early, enjoying a fish fry and kicking back and having a few while watching CC. It has been a long 2 days without baseball. I definitely do not like what mlb did by giving most teams a 4 day break instead of the normal 3, even though I am sure it was beneficial to the brewers. SF, thats a sweet shirt I found one similar in the fan zone but the price was ridiculously expensive so i passed. -
yeah i figured it was a cash grab when boston, miami, and pheonix were the only teams pursuing in and all of a sudden we came in a million dollar per year increase to lure him away.
-
Wow that is horrible. I did get tickets from Pedro before and would never imagine doing such a thing. One of the draw backs of how valuable brewer tickets are these days and difficult to come by, is that some may try to take advantage of the situation. I know I once couldn't make a game from my season ticket package and sold the tickets on ebay for face within an hour.
-
they are not, i looked while i was at kohls yesterday.
-
the number of jobs that we loose are not that substantial, to loose the status as the hq of miller brewing is catastrophic. It is a general trend of this city unfortunatly due to the tax climate that now exists.
-
the bucks didn't have the salary space to make that trade happen.

Looking for a 2006 Bowman Chrome Matt Gamel RC
patrickgpe replied to BrewCrewForever's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
have at it http://cgi.ebay.com/2006-Bowman-Chrome-Mat-Gamel-Rookie-RC_W0QQitemZ180263341921QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item180263341921&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 -
i think they have it at fan fair at south ridge if you are talking about what i think you are talking about. The ones there are the mitchell and ness coopertown classic jerseys.
-
Ross I don't think prices will drop after the all star game. I think you may be able to get a deal on it in December at the brewers rummage sale. I got a hart all star t-shirt yesterday at the game which is nice and way cheaper than the actual jersey.
-
i'd love to see the final numbers, anyone know if mlb usually releases those.
-
wow i am impressed how this community outvoted new york and philly. i guess don't mess with brewerfans
