  1. I put in the transactions page, it may not be the worst idea in the world to sign him if he clears waivers
  2. He was DFA’d. I don’t think it would be that dumb to bring him in. His average isn’t that great but he does have 15 bombs. Could help at 1st and DH. This would be assuming he clears waivers
  3. i can say with pretty good confidence that they will. He has been good at Nashville, brings much needed speed and defensive replacement ability as well. Plus if he does well is a positive spin on the Hader trade.
  4. I just hope they don’t lose him by trying to stash him.
  5. Very curious on what they will do at kicker. Ahmed has looked good last week and tonight. Crosby says that he will be available week 1.. Not sure if you can get in on the practice squad as a backup if Mason can’t go.
  6. I have noticed that. Hopefully he makes it. But there is quite a numbers game. Rodogers and Toure coming on. Can’t see Fulgram making it. He hasn’t seen anything tonight.
  7. Goodson is looking pretty safe as the 3rd RB. Rodgers has been OK. Not sure where that leads Winfree.
  8. I forgot about Cousins, i'll choose him over Kelly. I am not sure how serious Rosenthal's injury was but you are right it would make sense to activate him and put him on the MLB IL.
  9. I think it will be Ruiz and Kelly. I wouldn't be shocked if by gametime tomorrow, Frelick is up and Davis is DFA'd.
  10. i was surprised it was starting backup within a week of getting shut down. I think you are right. I think the game probably messed up.
  11. Was listening to Rome today and heard Sparky do a promo for the station. I saw then on twitter he is back in a reduced capacity. https://twitter.com/SparkyRadio/status/1562271114847559680?s=20&t=A3CDccwoRJpQqd-sDb182A
  12. 1) Very minimal. The biggest issue is that they games are on in the afternoon when I'm at work. Also a lot of the games are during March Madness. If they are on TV and I'm around, I'll watch on the weekend. 2) I tend to get enough infromation on surprises / disappointments, etc here and bleacher report. Used to be jsonline before they went behind the paywall 3) I think so. Some ideas could be a weekly ranking of positional battles for the 26 man roster. For example, if 4 Starters are competing for the 5th spot, stats and rankings by posters and/or admins. Kind of what you do for the minor leaguers. I don't really care how Burnes is pitching in the spring, but 'd like to see how the minor leaguers and the fringe major leaguers are doing.
  13. 100% agree and I said the same thing. I dealt with issues too with my first born and its hard to hard to help her and be there for her and still keep everything else you are responsible for moving. I do take exception that this is similar to Lauer. In corporate American nobody gets a heads-up that their teammate / coworker is getting cut for cost savings. You do need to be professional and do your job.
  14. I wish they would have waited until next season for 100,000,000 Milwaukee Brewer fans not franchise fans and I do wish they did not use the word significant. I could be wrong, but when it is announced, I do not think it will meet my definition of significant.
  15. Guess away on what the surprise could be?
  16. Or Axford. I was OK for the trade because i have been watching baseball for about 25 years and pretty much the only closer who was consistently good was Mo Rivera. He’s still going probably going to get a decent contract once he hits FA in 2023 but whoever does it it taking a risk, which i would say if he hasn’t been so bad the last 6 weeks.
  17. All of stuff he used to do that was funny (Piece of Crap Club, Rat Family, Personal Appearance is show fodder, etc) he now deems inappropriate. I would listen sometimes on the app, its just not the same show as it was when i was in my 20’s. I think its still better than anything out that is national, (cowheard, etc). But thats not saying much.
  18. It is, I was such a large fan in my youth. Its just not the same. Its gotten way too preachy. He still uses a lot of the same audio drops. The funny thing, I really stopped listening regularly to the station when they replaced Rome with the Big Unit, and its all come full circle.
  19. ok, shows how big of a WSSP listener I have been of late.....
  20. i know I misled the numbers on Hader, and probably should have left in out of my post My point more was that Bush and Rogers has not crap as the poster I responded to said, but rather had a bad or 2 outing in a 3 week period.
  21. Bush has had 5/8 outings not giving up a run. He looked excellent closing out the cards last week. Rodgers didn't give up a run in 4/6 outings, an his bad stats were basically in a very bad inning against the Cards. Hader also only gave up runs in 1 outing of out 4 appearances. like others said, stats get blown way out of proportion when you are looking at a 3 week window. I know Hader has been bad for an extended period of time and Rogers did lose his job in SD so he needs to improve too, but I won't say they have been crap.
  22. Bush and Rogers hasn't been garbage. They both have had bad outings that have affected their overall stats since the trade, since the sample size has been small. They have also looked very good.
  23. I could see Steve Fifer joining too, to do similar work for the Bucks or Packers, IF he wants to. He does have a family now and maybe he wants to try to get a job during normal business hrs, who knows, but I think he would be an asset to the fan.
  24. he was the best thing about that old station, so I'm not surprised and am happy for him. Its really all he wanted to do was a postgame. I don't think he cared much about that Ramie and Tim show. I'm sure he will be talking fantasy football as well.
  25. the gang is back together. smart move by iheart
