  1. I don't know if he was a horrible coach but he was a bad GM. from what I read Balke is a liability in the coaching search as candidates won't interview there if he is the GM.
  2. they played Creighton very tough. The big east is a very strong conference this season. It gets a little easier next week with Georgetown and DePaul, but not much. looking at conference RPI's, Big East is second to the Big 10.
  3. one more episode left of dexter: new blood. It has been a very satisfying ending to the series (if this is it), compared to the final season of the showtime original. Cannot wait for next week's show

    Pizza

Most frozen pizza toppings are bland anyway. I love a fresh hand pinched sausage or when you get the crispy pepperoni that folds over. yum.
  5. Didn't he lose the OC job after last season? Play calling, not OC. Though I don't believe the former actually happened either, FTR. https://uwbadgers.com/sports/football/coaches. I had to look it up to see, his official title is: Associate Head Coach / Run Game Coordinator / OL
  6. This worked out well for you won this week by 77 points, so pretty pretty good.
  7. Didn't he lose the OC job after last season?
  8. I stashed Williams for the week, but started Edmonds instead. However, I did pick up Amon-Ra St. Brown and put him in my flex...so I had that genius move cooking. I am only down .15 with Chubb left. Thankfully, it doesn't look like the benching of Rodgers/Adams will end up costing me. Pretty brutal for thousands, I would guess. I think you are in good shape! I had St. Brown too in my lineup. I rare week where everything I did turned to gold.
  9. Tampa would be that team, only because they did it last year. Dallas has a great record, but it young and just lost a must win game at home to Arizona. I think they are still a year or 2 away. Really none of the NFC contenders played well yesterday, besides GB.
  10. Picking up Penny and Williams on the WW was the right move. Easily won my championship, with CPatt unproductive on the bench.
  11. Decided to do so. Starting Penny at RB and Darrel Williams now at flex. Benching Dare and CPatt.
  12. I'd go with Michel and Monty, just based on volume.
  13. got my makeshift championship game roster basically set, but struggling on my flex play (standard league) C. Patterson, Dare Ogunbowale, Dillon, Darrel Williams, Osborne, or MVS. I'm leaning Patterson since he has been so solid for me since I got him in late September, but a strong case can be made for Dare or Williams just based on volume. What do you think
  14. Has that every happened before? they said on the radio on my way into work this AM that it hasn't
  15. This is what I went with. I also picked up Justin Jackson on waivers and had him on the bench. On to the ship! I picked up Jackson too to replace Ekeler ono my roster. I won 143-138 so every point mattered for me.
  16. Had a 16% chance of winning my semi going into SNF with me having Dallas D and my opponent having McLaurin, Dallas obviously had a defensive game for the ages and I'm off to the chip as well.
  17. Mattison and Chubb would be my call. Cousins is hurt and Mattison seems to have big games when Cook is out. Chubb is the best RB of the bunch.
  18. just got a small Christmas present from Santa. Saw an email alert over lunch that Dalvin Cook has COVID and was able to pick up Mattison before anyone else. He can replace Ekeler, if he does miss time for his COVID Between injuries and players being out with COVID on a weekly basis, whomever wins a league will be one lucky guy, more than skilled. I know everyone is dealing with it, but my 1st rd pick was Henry (OUT), 2nd Ekeler (COVID), 3rd AJ Brown (may return tonight), 4th Evans (Questionable), 5th Hockenson (OUT), and 6th Murray (was hurt and hasn't been the same since he returned) its a miracle to be a 2 seed in the semi's. Thank God i got Patterson early in the season off of waivers.
  19. yeah i think once you are out of contention you shouldn't be making waiver claims. That being said, I don't think it should be a league rule, but should be an unwritten rule. I wouldn't be picking up or dropping players once I am out. You have to play with these guys next season, so why piss them off over nothing. My league does pay out the consolation bracket champion their league fee back, so technically you are not out of it once the playoffs start.
  20. Dexter has been great. It took about 3 episodes to get going. I can't wait till Sunday night and watch it on the app Sunday AM.
  21. My wife and I watched OUR final episode of Big Sky this week. It was interesting when it started, but every episode this season has lead me to wonder why I'm still tuning in. The last episode was the deal breaker. Bye bye BIG SKY. this run has been less than desirable. I haven't watched last nights episode yet.
  22. Lions fans would like to have a word with you. Jacksonville was one game away from the super bowl only 4 years ago.
  23. You mustn't pay much attention to college football. He'll probably sit out 2022 but he'll have a job for 2023. Scum of a feather flocks together. I understand how college football works. He did quit from OSU to focus on his health returned to the pro's and has been caught kicking his kicker. Not exactly someone I would want to send my son to play for. And if I did, no guarantee how long he would be around anyway. This was a cash grab, which I get, but it was as big of a failure as I can remember as a coaching hire in recent memory (based on his contract, expectations, etc).
  24. the best news of this is that Urban is so toxic I can't see any major college program bring him in or obviously his NFL career is over. Never really like that guy. NFL teams will have to think twice before bringing in the hot college coach to run their program. The success rate is basically Pete Carrol and possibly Kingsbury .
  25. Okay, I retract my last statement....I need ESPN for Kansas Basketball. Does ESPN+ let you watch all of ESPN...the the main channel and stuff? If so, then still a net win money wise. no just the espn3 content
