I took your advice and got some on Monday to celebrate a big packer win. I agree they are excellent but the kids didn’t care for them. They also didn’t like the lotza motza pizzas I got once either though.

missed in the Beloit News, Green Bay's northwoods league has changed names after only 3 seasons as the Booyah. their program has been ransacked in 24 hrs. most top recruits decommited and rattler is entering the transfer pool. game over. I hate in college sports if you lose a coach you basically have to start over.

that 97 season was fun to watch him pitch. Devin Williams is doing similar things, but Jones did it without a change of pace fastball. Couldn't repeat it in 98 and was traded for Eric Plunk.

good on him. seemed like a good baseball guy. Glad he was able to get a comparable position. As I previously said, what happened here wasn't on him, but of course he was going to take the fall.

Great effort tonight after a rough start. This team is really taking the personality of their head coach. Dominant 2nd half by Lewis.

good test this weekend for Marquette. These preseason tournaments give you a decent barameter of where they are and help their SOS and RPI at tournament time. Don't know much about Mississippi, but their kenpom is 53 (MU 88 FWIW). if they win, i assume they get a date with West Virginia tomorrow (48 kenpom), if they lose they will probably get Elon (202 kenpom).

bucks were without Lopez, not quite a wash though. I think the bucks just need to stay in it (which they obviously will). Hopefully get a top 4 seed and be healthy in the spring and they will be fine. Middleton, after struggling in the 1st half, looked much better in the 2nd which is a positive development. But man Ojelele had a rough game. will be good to get Brook back.

When I first saw the logo I actually thought it didn't look like their work. But you are correct, they are a big part of the problem. Every logo they do is the exact same style. There is nothing unique about them other than the stupid name they represent. i had to look it up because its not as "cartoonish" as their typical work.

I personally don't understand why you have to cheer for both. I think it comes down to midwest nice. As a MU fan and alum, if there is a big recruit out there considering both schools, i am not happy if he chooses UW over MU and stays in the state. This isn't the case in other states. I don't really think big Oklahoma State fans are happy when Oklahoma wins a game. I get it, if you are not connected to one school and just a state college basketball fan. That being said, I don't cheer against UW, but am totally benevolent towards them. Last night, I watched the Marquette game and turned off the channel, rather than continuing to watch the badgers and cheer for Providence.
