    Kraken was overwhelming the fan's choice for the name and it does have local meaning, as previously posted. If any professional team was the brewers outside of here, it would also be "out of place". But, sorry i brought up the Kraken, it wasn't my intent to judge them, rather just state Guardians is horrible

    I know its very hard to brand a professional sports team these days. But Seattle did an excellent job with their hockey team. It can be done but its takes creativity. This screams double A to me.

    Now that the parade is over, the draft is in 6 days. With the first pick in the 2nd round, bucks are in a pretty enviable position. They will have to look to get another cheap bench player and will get a 1st round talent with a non-guarenteed contract. The 3 guys I'm look at are: Jared Butler, Baylor Joel Ayayi, Gonzaga Greg Brown, Texas some mocks have them available, some don't. Just like last year, i hope they go an older player route (i know Brown is a freshman). The seemed to do OK with that last year, but Nwora just couldn't get PT with the depth of the team.

    Bucks have so much money tied into their top 4 paid players, they are going to have to rely on draft picks, and veteran ring chasers to fill out a roster yearly.

    Im not a big championship merchandise guy since they are cool for about a year or so and then go in the back of the closet or the bottom of the dresser. I was happy to see polos available and snagged one online today. By the way, went to Kohls in Menomonee Falls at lunch today for something different. It was all there and it was a madhouse of those getting what they can.

    plus he can go somewhere and start. He would not being anything more than a 6th or 7th man here with Lopez and Giannis on the roster.

    me too, I think Mitchell is a decent comparison since he signed for slot, and was a college JR who fell in the draft. so its a little bit of a surprise.

    Good point. But he also knows that his treatment of the fans and his teammates also directly impacts his legacy. Does it? Favre pretty did whatever he could to tarnish it, and he was welcomed back into the family. If this thing does go south in the next few weeks, it will take some time, but he will be back in the family with his number retired.

    Whats absolutely insane as that the draft is next week and that free agency starts the week after that. the NBA literally gives no time to breathe before the offseason starts.

    If you are a wrestling fan, he is just trying to be a heel. I have no use of the guy. Don't care what he thinks about Milwaukee (although I do not think what he says is his true feelings). Its a little hypocritical to remove Rachel Nichols from the finals for her comments, and yet Stephen A continues to get to rant and rave like a lunatic on ESPN.

    #1 i think its a combination of trying to replenish the upper levels of their minor league system. I also wonder what do the brewers do with High Schoolers? There is no rookie ball, where do they go until they are ready to play for Carolina?

    you have to at least wait through the day to see how all 10 rounds go with regards to their bonus pool. The attitude that I know more than the brewers scouting director and he should be fired because I do not like his picks is old and tiresome.

    I think once pipeline redoes their top 30’s Frelik could be slotted 2. Definitely top 3. Got to love improving the system, whatever your feelings on the draft pick are. Blenkenmeyer’s comments fires me up. Exactly the type of player I want in the organization

    Personally I’m fine with the pick. Some of the guys I would have preferred more went but if they went McLain or Frelik I wouldn’t have complained. Knowing what the organization prefers to do, who could be surprised they did this?
