  1. whomever wrote this would be a good weatherman https://informationcradle.com/craig-coshun/ so somewhere between 18-75k
  2. alot of mocks have shifted to Newsome at 29, which is fine. really liking Felton from UCLA at 92. not sure if they can get a decent OT in the 2nd, but this scenario does help a few needs.
  3. missed the news that Dwayne Kilings is leaving to be Albany's head coach yesterday. A big blow to the program after loosing Stan Johnson last year. I think he really helped recruiting. Symir Torrence also transferring after loosing his spot in the rotation to Carton.
  4. I doubt he falls past 5, but who knows. That being said, I do not think the packers have the ability to be giving up the farm to move up 15-20 spots. If you do, you better make sure he is a pro-bowler for the next decade. I think the packers can get a good OT at 29 or just have to move up a few spots, not swing for the fences.
  5. as coaches are getting the axe today, Marquette has held firm. I didn't realize that he signed a 5 year extension at the end of the '19 season. Unless the boosters are going to put up money to get him out, I think Wojo isn't going anywhere. (this is what happened in Indiana, per reports out today)
  6. I think Jones is the ultimate C grade signing. I’m happy he is back but if he wasn’t resigned and resources were allocated elsewhere I would have understood and been ok with it. More fully convinced packers need to focus on offensive line and cornerback for days 1 and 2 of the draft.

    Pizza

yeah just get a totino's square pizza. its the same.
  8. Marquette’s Kenpom is 82 and net is 87. It’s not going you get you in. They have had some nice non conference wins but really besides the Creighton game, they haven’t done much in the big east.
  9. I would agree with you, except for as the article states the number of watchers is not that large. I don’t think it would make much difference
  10. looks like MU's season is ending today, under 500, no postseason. Hopefully they do the right thing and find a new coach.
  11. comp picks out, packers get a 4th, 5th, and 6th. I'll assume the 4th for Bulaga, 5th for Martinez, and 6th for Fackrell?
  12. right and I can't assume that ATT wont be next anyway. horrible company sad part is that instead of getting some money from each streaming subscriber, they will be encouraging fans to find "other" ways to watch the games.
  13. isn't staying healthy his biggest concern? Hard to commit to a 1st round pick for a guy who can't stay on the field
  14. of course not, that would be insane. it was more of a tongue in cheek comment. And yes, Lowry is a good player who signed an extension and got unrealistic expectations. Plus he was a 4th round pick not a 1st or 2nd, so he should have different expectations.
  15. last NU kid they drafted was Lowry, who has shown some signs but is hardly lighting the world on fire.
  16. Aaron jones was not franchised. I'm OK with this. I would be shocked if the packers signed him as well. I do hope they can resign Williams and would have a nice dynamic will Dillon and a change of pace back in Jamal Williams.
  17. i kind of get what he is saying, but have no idea what means. While i agree with his premise, i don't think he is correct that this was the brewers plan. They did make a hard run at Turner, which is not a defensive wiz. The brewers made a hard run at Marcus Siemen before wong, again not a gold glove SS. I think they really tried to add some power to their offense and went with plan B when those things failed.
  18. if wojo is fired, which i am not certain he will, marquette does always seem to go the assistant route. Only coach in the last 30 years to be hired that was a head coach the year prior was Deane.
  19. I like how this roster is constructed.
  20. Yea, they brought up Diakite the same day too. They need to give these guys (and Nwora) some run and see if they can contribute. Their bench is all kinds of bad, and they need someone to step up. Powell undersized off the bench doesn't mean much, NBA is pretty position-less these days. Matters more on the defensive side of the court, but pretty sure he can't be worse than Augustine defensively. when you have such a large percentage of salary devoted to 3 players, you need these types of guys off the bench. Its why I campaigned for seniors to be drafted in the last draft rather than projects. Maybe Nwora, Diakite, and Powell can give a spark off the bench.
  21. I think a top candidate would be Brian Wardle. I can't speak to what candidates are around, but March always produces a good half dozen of hot candidates. Marquette is a good job but its not a destination job. I get that. Still they have a great practice facility on campus and probably play in the best arena in all of college basketball. Marquette coaches have been compensated in the top 10 in all of NCAA in the past, and you are the top dog on campus.
  22. I know this isn't the greatest spot to talk Marquette hoops in town, but I am genuinely interested to see if Wojo survives this offseason. He has been here for 7 years and will have only made 2 NCAA tournaments and have not won a game yet. Last 2 years the team faded down the stretch and this year, they really never got going once conference season started after some nice non- conference wins. College basketball is odd that you can bet that a bunch of key players will ask to transfer if Wojo leaves, but Mike Dean was fired for less. I think Marquette can do better.
  23. no mention of this, but the bucks signed Myles Powell the other day. I always thought he had a great college career and I know he is an undersized 2, but just like Marcus Howard that dude can shoot.
  24. according to baseball reference he hasn't played the IF at all in the MLB. I am not saying you are incorrect because maybe in the minors, but not in the last 9 years. I do not think this is what the brewers were thinking
  25. There is some question on his role, if any. Brewers have all of these guys that can play multiple positions, with the addition of JBJ, are you going to have a guy who can spell Hiura at 1st and pinch hit late in games and thats about it.
