That second strike to Graffy was an absolute joke, especially considering it was 6 inches more down and outside than the pitch that had just been called a ball.

What was Hunter doing? Better yet, why didn't Morneau at least sneak off the bag to make the Brewers think about that?

And even moreso, why did Braun try to make that play? Hardy was in a better position. But, yeah, he's got some range on him.

Who should have been covering third?

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I gotta figure that Hardy should have moved over once Braun screwed the play up, but instead he went back after the baseball.

In an ideal world, Braun would have turned around and gone back, instead letting Hardy play the ground ball.

How many 80ish MPH pitches are we going to let this dope throw down the middle of the plate on first pitches before we make him pay for it?

If you let any MLB pitcher get ahead in a count, even a marginal one, he's going to be successful.

I'm thinking it should have been Estrada covering third once Braun was out of position.

I'm sure someone in the dugout knows, and maybe we'll find out before the end of the weekend.

No matter what, someone didn't do their job. No doubt about that.

Hey, look. Another scoreless inning for the worst starting pitcher in the American League.

I hate hate hate seeing second-rate pitchers make us look bad. I'm busy all night so I can't spend my whole time in the vent thread, but we better pick up against this kid.

As slow as Johnny is the runner would have passed him and headed to an uncovered home plate.

Vargas is dealing right now. That's good. We need a long outing from him.

As for the strike zone, if someone could draw me a picture of it, that would be great. I'm not sure it's possible.

This ump's strike zone is bewildering me.

I couldn't agree more. It is all over the place. I think that Graffanino AB was the biggest example. Ball that looked like a strike, then one several inches wider that was called a strike. Baffling.
