At least we're getting baserunners on more often that not - more runners on means more stressful pitches for the starter.

 

If a team is only hitting .200 with runners in scoring position, i'd much rather have them hitting .200 with RISP every inning.

I think it may be a numbers game...pretty solid chance Prince and Coco get in...maybe J.J. (and that's a big maybe) and then Sheeter? I don't know. It would be great.

At least were getting plenty of hits. If the pitching continues to be good, it's just a matter of time before this equals more runs and some more winning. While you get upset at LOB, at least were hitting. Better than games with 5 or less hits and no opportunities to score.

If Sheets keeps this up much longer Woogie's going to need to add a Hershiser watch to the IGT.

 

 

Also, his ERA is on track to go below 3.00 by the 6th inning.
