A Couple Good Signs

Brewers are now 4-0 in extra inning games.

Brewers have now gone 5-3 on this current road trip. Having a winning record in 9 games at NY, STL, and Cincy is pretty darn good!

Gagne is starting to look like Game Over when he takes the mound. The rest of the bullpen has been throwing very well as of late as well.

Suppan made yet another quality start and looks like he may turn out to be that innings eater they thought they were getting last year.

Yovanni is back tomorrow!

Only concerns and hopefully turn out to be nothing are Sheets' status and Braun's current cold-streak, and hopefully both will be resolved for the better soon.

Don't forget the 2-1 @Chi.

We have played 11 of 17 games on the road including series @NYM, @CHI, @STL, @CIN without our best fielding player, with Braun and Fielder struggling and with our #2 SP on the DL.

Now unfortunately the Cubs and Cards also got off to hot starts but both have had easier schedules than we have so far having played the majority of their games at home and the majority of their games against lower tier teams.

The 206 2/3 innings Soup threw last year was nothing to sneeze at http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

I imagine extra inning games typically (percentage wise) go to the team with the better bullpen. Although, on an individual day, any team could score on any bullpen, so I suppose anything could happen in a small sample of games.
