4/27/08 Marlins (Nolasco) at Brewers (Parra): 1:05 PM CDT

[Dustin Block]

Alright, bring on the Cubs!!!!

[rluzinski]

Can Melvin fix this pathetic bench now and quit with this asinine 14 pitcher crap?

[Ennder]

Certainly would be more fun to see some 7-3 games occassionally instead 3-2 in 10 innings every night.

[Brewcrewin07]

This team is freakin ridiculous. The Cubs win and they lose. The Cubs lose and they lose. I know it's still early, but it seems to me last year was a mirage.

[brewmann04]

This offense is so pathetic now is hard to see how they will compete for a title

[SeriesFinale]

What a dull, disgusting way to waste an entire beautiful afternoon

I'm more angry at myself than the Brewers

[TeeJayh1980]

We could be at .500 when the Cubs are done with us. I'll take .500 if it leads to some changes in management.

[trwi7]

Pathetic, serves these idiots right for having 11 position players.

[TSack27]

Post game Craig Coshun, " This isn't the first time Wes Helms has stopped the Brewers from winning"

I know he was refering to his time after leaving the Brewers, but I can think of several times when he was part of the team that would also apply.

They aren't going to start 24-10, if that's what you mean.

[TauPentaRei]

Russ you beat me to the M word.

How many games now has this hamstringing bench just been killing us? Back to St Louis, right?

Extra innings or no extra innings, Melvin has not put this club in a position to succeed with this 14 pitcher crap.

[dlk9s]

Being in first place after Thursday will be even sweeter now.

UPDATE:

I need some Greay Horse Premium Gin right about now. (a constant sponsor of WSSP's post game show)

All i am going to say abouts today's game is boring. That was the longest 4 and half hours in my life that i won't get back.

I hear ya. It was the first game I've gone to this year. I've never seen a low scoring game take so long. But my 3.5 year old son wanted to stay for the whole thing. The highlight was definitely getting to watch Stetter get out of the Turnbow jam. Striking out 2 with that 77 MPH filth.
