In recent transaction news, Ned Yost has been fired as manager of the Brewers. His hat, however, is now inked to a 4-year deal.

Good thing Yost had him pick a name out of his hat! We could've had Hall's power up there 3 more times rather than Craig "I hope I find a hole with this somewhat-sharply hit ground ball" Counsell.

Braun hacks at some bad ones and then takes that pitch. It's maddening how much we are striking out looking.

 

At this point, I don't know how you can not blame Skaalen for the bad plate appearances that most of the hitters are giving us every time.

Braun's definitely been trying to draw walks the last week or two... I've noticed he's struck out looking quite a bit. So I guess he just isn't taking the right pitches yet. He'll improve, I'm sure.
